Title: Hand Job
Post by: Moon on March 18, 2007, 10:34:41 am
Hi there,

I recently visited a massage parlour and recieved a hand job. The girl there used baby oil but I am not sure she washed her hands b4 or after she did so.  There was an antibacterial wash available which I used to clean up with afterwards though.  To make it worse I have herpes and after the event realise that I have some very small blisters on my foreskin.

Can HIV be transmitted via a handjob in this situation?  For example if she had any semen or viginal fluid on  her hands!
Any advice would be much appreciated as this was a stupid thing to do and has left me feeling really anxious to say the least! :'(

No, HIV wouldn't get transmitted this way.  You can relax.  No need to get tested over this or anything.  Handjobs aren't a transmission route for HIV.

Masturbation, mutual or otherwise, is not a risk for HIV transmission.

You have no cause for concern nor any need for testing.

Please read our lesson on transmission to get down with the real risks. You'll find a link to it in the Welcome thread which opens this section.

Cheers,

Sorry if this seems to be time wasting but can i just be certain with you guys; even if I had herpes blisters on my penis, there is no HIV transmission risk from recieving a handjob from a sex worker even if this person did not wash her hands from the last client ?  I realise there may be other STD risks but thats another question.

Thanks for all your advice.

No way.  No how.  Not with Herpes or anything else happening on your johnson!  Hiv is transmitted INSIDE the body not through skin to skin contact.

Please read the lessons on transmission and educate yourself on how this virus is actually transmitted.

Still no risk for you as far as HIV is concerned. But if you had active blisters on your penis, you could transmit herpes to the person masturbating you. Anytime you're having an active outbreak of herpes you need to give some thought to passing that to anyone you are with.

This is still a no risk incident for HIV.

Thanks for thinking of making a donation. This site doesn't accept them but any AIDS service organization in your area can always use a donation.

I'm glad you found our site helpful.
