You saved $4.86 Mr.. erm.. Mrs Jagger
« on: July 29, 2007, 01:11:03 am »
I kid you not..

I was at the check out counter, and there was this lady in front of me, skinny, tall, sort of curly blond hair to shoulders, very white, strong jaw, wearing a two pieces skirt with a large decolte, showing a pretty nice smooth breast line.. Anyway I put my stuff on the belt and don't pay attention, it was a lady, until I hear her speak. She had a deep voice and something was wrong.. I look up to her and..... well sure, yeah, she's a trans (in transition?). Nice boobs, but the face is obviously male and the voice is not working ..

The face? Think Mick Jagger in his 30s
The voice? Think Mick Jagger.

The name? Mrs Jagger...

The clercks at Vons (aka Safeway) always says "You saved x dollars and x cents" if you have a Vons Card. She looked at the trans, looked at the receipt, and said "You saved $4.86 Mr.. Mrs Jagger"!

Now I won't stop thinking that Mick Jagger is a trans !  :o :o :o :o

Milker Dear,

The moon is full in our time zone today with moon sextile Uranus.  Extremes and sudden change can happen in a moments notice.  However, Uranus, Neptune, Jupiter, Venus, and Pluto are in retrograde at this time so... all bets are off.   ;)  Have the best day

My Safeway/Vons/ Pavilions card is not in my name... I share one with my ex, in his name.  The clerk is supposed to pick up the name to address the customer and Larry's name can't be pronounced because there is a vowel missing.. They always ask how you pronounce my name and I point out I'm not Mr. Larry, I am the former Mrs.

My former case manager from St. Mary's (Long Beach) uses a serial killer on his.  In Safeway/Vons/Pavilions he is Jeffrey Dahmer.  On my Ralph's card, the name of the company president is what I used.

There was a book out called Up and Down with the Rolling Stones.  The author claimed to be their drug dealer so the book was basically... who took what when and was rather dull.  However comma There was reference to a conversation between Mick Jagger and I believe Andy Warhol.  In the authors words, Mick Jagger said he wasn't gay but was flattered that people might think he was.  Lost that book in a fire and it wasn't enough of a book to replace.  Have the best day

I'm sure 'the trans' is glad that she amused you, Milker.

Milker.

Whereas others may be laughing at this, I for one am not. I actually find it very distasteful and verging on bigoted. Even if this were true Milker, so what? There are many transgender/transexual folk out there that have enough of a challenge with decisions they are faced with and changes they are going through, without also having to deal with being pointed out and ridiculed by ignorant folk and/or those that just don't get it.

If a thread had been started here on the forums by a straight person ridiculing someone - famous or whatever - for possibly being gay, the proverbial shit would have hit the fan within minutes. But what? It's ok to ridicule trangenders/transexuals? I think not.

People, show some respect please.

Milkie,

I have to say I'm really disappointed in you over this. Transgendered people have enough on their plate without you sniggering at one of them in a public forum dedicated to people with hiv.

I'm locking this thread - it's a disgrace.
