« on: May 22, 2012, 01:50:13 pm »
I was diagnozed and im still healthy so im not on meds, however i foud out that one of the guys i was with is taking intelence. From what i read intelence is prescribed for people who are arv resistant. He said i infected him but im beginning to think he infected me. How does one know if they are arv resistant?

You're doctor should give you a genotype test right before deciding what medications to take.

As far as who infected whom forget about it -- what's the point. You both obviously barebacked so you both share the blame. Accept it and move on.

Sure, and you're doctor will test you for this if he is following standard protocol. Discuss it with him.

Intelence is a common first line drug in the US, regardless of resistance.
