Wishing you ladies a Happy New Year!
« on: January 02, 2014, 04:24:25 pm »
Hello girls,

It's been a long while.  I haven't been on lately.  This past year has been hard.  I won't bore you details but I was working for a company from March to September.  I had been working part time up until then.  Then, I went into over drive....all work, every day, even on the weekends and I was salaried.

But the worst part was that I was bullied, teased by a group of 3 people, I was the 4th in the office.  I was terribly traumatized.  They were all 25-30 years old.    I finally asked the "big boss" if people were trying to get me fired and he said yes, there was a conspiracy.  Image that!  He said that he find me another job.  I said I could handle it.  Well, until the week he was out of the office it was carte blanche for these "pop tarts."    I had kept all the paper trails and had a large folder of evidence.  Went to HR, another building next door and gave her my entire story.   So they put me down as laid off to avoid any legal action.

But it was traumatizing.  I woke up in the mornings freaked out.  I had never experienced anything like this.  Then my cat had to be put to sleep for cancer and now my dog is ill.  So life has been keeping me busy.   I was clinically depressed but I'm doing much better from the incident.

My husband is great and still negative.  Hard to believe it will be 8 years for me this month.

Hope all is well with you gals, Betty, Em, Anne and all the newer people.

Hugs,

Camms

Hey Camms!  Good to see you posting!

I'm so sorry to hear about those 3 idiots you worked with.  It's good you're out of there.  I'm also sorry to hear about your pets.  They truly are our friends and companions, and it's heart-breaking when they fall deathly ill.  My thoughts are with you on that.

I'm glad to read your husband is good and still negative!  You deserve a good man and marriage and I'm thrilled for you!

Keep in touch when you are able, and know we're rooting for you.

Betty

Camms!

I'm not on as often as before either. So glad I logged in this morning.

So sorry to learn of you being bullied--it is amazing what crappy things occur in the workplace. When you spend more time at work than home it can break you if the people are nasty.

I hope you get it resolved. Lay off instead of their taking action?  You may ultimately want to talk with someone after the trauma wounds are cooled a bit.

Lucky you to have a good man and marriage.

Double whammy on your pets. So sad. I hope your dog pulls through.

Regarding your improving depression and the prolonged stress you've been under--have you been tested for Vit D and thyroid? These tests and supplements have been a game changer for me. I did not know how bad off I was!!

Big hugs to you.
Em
