Am I infected
« on: July 15, 2013, 11:37:32 am »
Let me narrate what happened. Please advise.....I m tensed.

Last Friday I went to a massage parlours and landed up getting a handjob. We were both naked and during the course of the massage she lied beside me while I fondled her breasts and fingered her vagina. She kept stroking my penis .to make things more intense she tried to slide my penis between her legs(her legs clamped around my penis) as she lied her back towards me. Once or twice I tried to finger her ass. She also fingered my butt with some lotion. I made it a point that my penis did not enter vagina. I tried to finger her and then after some time I might hav rubbed my eyes with that same hand. Then I had an orgasm, took shower and left.
For the last 3 days, I am having light fever, feeling a bit nauseated, slight sore throat and a bitter taste in mouth....also feeling weak......is it possible that I have contracted HIV? Or is it viral flu?

Please advise.

There is absolutely no way you could have contracted HIV from the scenario you described.

HIV is a very fragile virus and not at all easy to transmit. If you use a condominium for penetrative anal and vaginal sex you will avoid HIV.

You ddobt get HIV from fingering, rubbing, kissing, or any other sexual activity besides unprotected anal and vaginal sex.

You were not at risk in the least.

Three things - the symptoms that sometimes accompany acute HIV infection are vague and vary widely from person to person. Therefore it's almost useless to discuss them at all - and they certainly cannot be used to diagnose the virus. Only an HIV test taken at the appropriate time can do that.

For those who have had a risk, that testing window is three months. A six week test is considered all but definitive but the "gold standard" remains three months.

What we do here is risk assessment. And as I pointed out, you did not have a risk.

Whatever is causing your maladies, you can be assured that it hasn't HIV.
