severe joint pain

I have been poz for 21 years and i am having a tough time with severe pain in my legs and knees and my shoulders, well to be honest i hurt all over, my doctor just says well??? There has to be a beet quality of life for us? My 4 calls are 400 and almost undetectable, i know long time has its issues but i should not have to hurt 24/7. Thanks. David

hi, david. that's a bitch.

there ought to be a source of your problem. if it's not a side effect from 1 or more medications, it could be any number of things, including arthritis. if it's arthritis, take Glucosamine + Chondriatrin + MSM (not the TV network). after more than 10 years arthritis, i am amazed how much better i am. i get mine at Trader Joe's markets. Cheap/safe fix. i adjust the dose based on how i feel and my level of hands-based physical activity (ie carpentry, painting).

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 As of Oct 2nd, 2023, Viral load Undetectable.
CD 4 @676 /  CD4 % @ 18 %
Lymphocytes,absolute-3815 (within range)

Hey Scooters,

I had a spell where I hurt all over, and became so weak I could barely walk. It turned out to be a problem with my meds.

As Ray asked, what meds are you taking, of have have you been taking?
