By The Associated Press
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A Florida pharmacy has told The Associated Press it incorrectly prepared a medication for 21 polo horses that died over the weekend while preparing to play in a championship match.

Jennifer Beckett of Franck's Pharmacy in Ocala, Fla., told the AP in a statement the business conducted in internal investigation that found "the strength of an ingredient in the medication was incorrect." The statement did not say what the ingredient was.

State authorities have been investigating. The pharmacy says it is cooperating with the investigation.

The horses were part of the Lechuza Polo team.

Yeah Ray, I was just reading that today.
I can not imagine the shock and pain the
owners must have felt, let along the spectators.
Reminds me of that dog food scare back when,
where all those pets died of poison dog food from
was it China?

Randy, I remember that pet food scare.  Actually, I believe it was dog and cat food (unless I'm thinking of a different time).  My neighbor's cat died from some Iam's cat food a few years ago.

I heard about that horse story, Ray.  Very sad.

I remember a story about Fabreeze around 10 years ago.  People who had sprayed their pets bedding with Fabreeze found their animals dead.  At first it seemed like an urban myth, my neighbors dog died, the neighbor had used that product and everyone was sending email warnings.  Frbreeze began using happy pets, using the product themselves in all the commercials.  What if that Florida pharmacy used the same PR team as Febreeze?  ;D  Have the best day

I remember something about that !! I use Ozium. However, don't spray it in the car with the windows closed, while driving. It will suck the air right out of your lungs !!   :o
