Title: Importance of Plants
Post by: alisenjafi on August 13, 2006, 04:46:40 pm
While this forum is on solely on nutrition, here is something else to add to your health.
I have  some plants and when the apartment is done I will have a lot more. two of the plants I have are peace lilies. The benefits they give besides the aesthetic  are pretty amazing.

That's fascinating. Not quite a HEPA filter, but looks promising.

I think it's interesting that media health watchdogs are always up in arms about outdoor air quality, when the WHO cites indoor air pollution as one of the more dangerous global concerns.

All this came to mind as my friend through 1960s wood panelling on our campfire the other night. Blech.

The only problem with this option is I'd have to keep the thing alive -- and in an NYC apartment that's a challenge.
