Girl, as I told you in your other thread, you are very likely dealing with a false positive. Please read my response in the other thread for details.

If you are not dealing with a false positive, a faint positive on a rapid test would mean that you have been very recently infected - which would likely mean that your boyfriend infected you if you've been having unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse. So forget about him hating you - and regardless of who gave who what, if he hates you because of a virus you're better off without him anyway.

You do not need to tell him anything right now. Wait until you've had the additional tests you need. In the meantime, all you need to do is to use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse - something you should be doing anyway. I also talked about this in your other thread.

Hang in there and get the additional testing you need. At this point, you absolutely have NOT been diagnosed as hiv positive. You need to get the additional testing I explained in your other thread before you assume that you are positive. I strongly suspect that you are not.

Good luck. Keep us posted as to the outcome of the additional tests you need.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

sshortguy, I understand that you mean well, but as a man you should not be posting in the Women's forum. Please do not post here in future - and thank you for your cooperation.

I'm going to lock this thread - going by the latest news in the other thread (linked to above), I highly doubt that the OP is positive.
