Birthdays have special meaning because, unlike major holidays, they are your own "personalized holiday". For many of our Forum members, their birthdays have held a much more significant meaning since getting their diagnosis. There's no better time to take stock of how far you've come than when celebrating another year that you lived through at each birthday; and there's no better time than at your birthday to think ahead to all the things you have to do in another year yet to be lived.
