Sex With TS Escort...
« on: October 24, 2014, 10:28:40 pm »
Hi all,

Like everyone else I'm very scared and unsure if I should go get the PEP or not...

Last night I got a little too drunk and ended up with a TS sex worker. I give her an unprotected BJ and then we had sex, I was the receptive partner. She had a condom at the start, but I'm freaked out that it may have burst even though I wouldn't have noticed.

She had a lot of pre-cum and I don't know her status. However, she ejaculated in my mouth, and I think I saw her remove the condom but I was way too wasted.

I texted her today and she said she wore the condom through out and there's nothing to worry about... But I feel like shit today, probably from alcohol and am seriously considering if I should just go to the Urgent Care and see a physician.

Help, advice, telling me I'm a dumb ass are all appreciated! I know you probably get these questions often, but I'm pretty terrified right now.

Oral sex is not a risk for HIV infection, and the intercourse was protected so no risk there.

If you are unsure if the intercourse was protected, I suggest you seek medical advice on how to proceed.  It's very hard to make an assessment, when you were too wasted to really know what happened.  PEP has an excellent success rate, but only you and a doctor can decide if PEP is right for you.

I really messed up this time!

So I am aware that I go through cycles, specifically about once every 18 - 24 months I get horny enough to go see a TS sex worker.

Something I am about to work through with a therapist because I pretty much never enjoy it and then spend the next 6 weeks freaking.

This time however, I actually came inside her without protection and then she put me back in after so that I could be inside her when she orgasmed.

PEP? That's the real question isn't it.

Oh, and I asked she says she's negative... I'm following up on that tomorrow in case she lied and feels more comfortable admitting it when I'm not actually in the room with her.

Regardless the full STI panel awaits me.

The only reason I don't want to think about PEP is because of the side-effects and expense. I know my risk is lower as the insertive partner. I also know that's not the same as no risk.

For those of you who are ... [Edited by Jim]

I'm also worried I have a sore on my dick, but there was so much lube, I'm not even gonna go there right now. One thing at a time.

TL;DR Came inside a sex worker (TS) unprotected and went back in again after. I'm an idiot.  :-\

Her status is not your concern and none of your businesses. Even if she was tested today all it means is that she was negative 13 weeks ago, it's simply not important. Please leave her alone. Instead you should focus on simply knowing your own HIV status and start practicing safer sex.

Unprotected intercourse is a risk so guidelines are to test at 6 weeks past any incident and then at 13 weeks to confirm the result.
You can read about testing here:HIV Testing

If you want to take PEP that is up to you and your doctor, note that PEP should be started no later than 48-72 hours after exposure.

For those of you who are ....
I removed the last part don't be giving advice to others when you don't understand the risks yourself.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for all (STI's) sexually transmitted infections together.

If you are sexually active, it is highly recommended that you get a full sexual health check-up / screening at least annually including but not limited to hiv testing.

Remember that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's. So please do get fully tested regularly for all STI's including HIV and more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs. Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Finally use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, to avoid sexually trasmitted hiv infection.

Kind regards

Jim

I am now on PEP, started exactly 16 hours after potential exposure. That's massively helped my odds and as people mentioned, it was an important decision made WITH my health care provider who did excellent work.

1 down, 27 more days to go. Be interesting to see how my body handles the pills.

Hi

Just as a note as you have started PEP the testing guidelines from my first post would now be to test at 6 weeks post completing the PEP course and at 13 weeks post PEP to confirm the result.

More information on PEP can be found here: PEP and PrEP
