Did I contract HIV? Am I going through ARS? Scared.... :(

I really am glad I found this forum and am extremely appreciative of your feedback. I really just want to get some experienced opinions on this topic/my current situation.

Basically, I'm a 22 yr old gay male who is 1000% panicked about possibly having contracted HIV to the point where I haven't been able to sleep for an entire week nearly. It's consumed almost every thought and second and is driving me nuts.

I had two sexual encounters recently. One was 6 weeks ago, and the other was one week ago. I'll explain what happened in both cases.

6 wks experience: There was no sexual intercourse. Just oral sex which only I performed on him. He did not ejaculate in my mouth, however, roughly 10 minutes after he cummed he asked me to perform it again and I did. My concern is left over precum being inside the penis from the first time he ejaculated. I didn't have any visible cuts in my mouth but you never know.

1 Week experience: The second guy was last week. I performed oral sex on him (again he did nto ejaculate in my mouth) and we also had PROTECTED anal sex where I was the receptive partner. The sex only lasted maybe 4 minutes and he did not orgasam. The reason it only lasted a few minutes is because I thought it hurt too much and wanted to stop. We used a condom that I believe was somewhat lubricated in the package but we had no actual lube. The condom was only wet from saliva. This makes me worry that MAYBE the condom broke...I'm the one who removed the condom afterwards from his penis and it looked to be in tact but you never know, it could have had a tare somewhere and I didn't see. It was dark in the room....

So in a nut shell, my exposures are listed above. 3 weeks ago (so about 1 week after the first guy) I noticed I had really bad stomach cramps and soft stools...this lasted 2 days and went away. Then this week I've been getting a lot of canker sores which I normally never really get. As well as red bumps on my chest and arm. The wierd part about the dots is that they are flat red and there was only about 5 on my chest all in different places and a few on my arm...the wierd thing is though is that they APPEAR and DISAPPEAR. So one day I noticed it on my chest, the next morning gone. Then another day there and gone.

Anyway I tested on a Rapid HIV test negative but of course that was only one month after the first guy and 1 week after the second. You need to wait 3 months to be certain and I'll be going nuts until then. However, my doctor said the canker in my mouth and the spots on my arm were what he'd call "non specific" and said he wasn't worried about HIV but that I could come back in 3 months for reassurance.

What do you all think? Please help.

You didn't have a risk in any of the situations you mentioned , the oral sex was NOT a risk and had the condom broke you would have noticed . Condoms are designed to fail catastrophically , so if it wasn't in shreds and tatters it didn't break .

Because you didn't have a risk you can count your HIV test as conclusive that you are HIV negative and put this behind you . You do not have HIV .

The symptoms you are having could be from a thousand things other than HIV and they are not specific to HIV , that's why we never discuss symptoms .

  If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!
