So I hear that I figured prominently in a blog link posted by Ihavehope that got yanked by the Moderators.  All of this went on while I was at a funeral, so I missed it.  Shame.  I would have loved to have seen what said.

Anyone have highlights?  Screen captures?

Yes, indeed I heard that I was included in said blog as well.  Undoubtedly not in a favorable manner though I was not personally privy to the viewing seeing as how I've been nursing my food poisoned body all day.

If this did indeed occur I'd say it's in rather bad taste at the very least, as well as highly inappropriate for a forum built on providing support.

It must have been posted before 9:30 PM PDT --  after 2 hours of reading posts my assumption is the guy didn't take his ADHD medicines.  He disappeared sometime last evening but I wondered about what I'd plow through if he is online a lot of time.  There is the ignore feature but how does that work?  Do all an ignored poster's posts disappear?     

Was this blog posted on this site or another site?  I love a good lunatic rant and I can make a damn fine cheese dip when called upon to do so.  If someone has the link I'd be thankful if you sent it in an IM.

After some exchanges between members, lo and behold a new blogsite was born mocking a few of the members involved. Having no life, your ol' Aunty Dox was able to sneak a peek before the Goderators shut it down.

Rest assured you missed nothing, and I mean nothing. Granted the blogsite was hastily put together but the quality of the work was so poor as to render the content meaningless. The owners would have been better served and more creative if they had scribbled your name on the bathroom wall of a local mall...that's how juvenile it was.

It was pictures of ugly people referred to as members of this board and then slandered.  The post was removed by the mods as it should have been.  It was in poor taste and personally I would ban the 3 responsible for it.

Well, considering how the Unholy Trinity was recently banned (funny how that works as a unit, isn't it?) and how one particular member of the Trinity (or should I say Axis?) had quite the penchant for continual posting of visual imagery, there's little doubt in my mind which board member was responsible.

The odd thing is that I was barely involved in that particular milker thread at all -- so therefore the depths of this person's utter insanity run much deeper than we all thought.  I'd almost label it pathological, but then again I don't have one of those coveted New Age Psychology degrees from Yale that I've read so much about on these boards. 

At any rate I think that because this "occurrence" was aimed directly full frontal and surreptitiously at both thunter34 and myself, that the moderators should comment.  Personally the posters in question were banned for other infractions on that thread, not because they put up this hasty, slanderous and badly designed semi-blog.  And for two members of the Trinity this is not their first time-out from the board, it's their second -- and yet they've only been participants on Aidsmeds Forums for about 4 months.  That's a bit of a record, isn't it -- and obviously one can begin to see a trend.  In particular if one takes the time to pull up scottt's profile and read his earliest postings on this board it's enough to make the chunks slowly start to rise, as Cher would say in Clueless, as they're so utterly full of the most egregious vitriol.

As far as I'm concerned such an attack as that should surely fall close to the territory of a permanent ban -- why should something like that be tolerated?  That makes simple flame baits look like a short bicycle ride in the park.

I saw it, it was ugly, yet insignificant enough that I only recall a few details. Plus I was at work and some of the pictures were blocked. You can see some detail in a search, but the page is not found if you try to go to it.  Which is fine with me. I'm wondering if they were threatened with permanent bans if they were to leave it up.

For the record, I have been told Moffie was also included in the attack.  Big suprise, I know....imagine that. 

Truth to tell, I consider the people responsible for it to be, well....completely trivial.  Insignificant to such a degree that I am not very alarmed at whatever they may have had to say about me.  I just don't see them as having anywhere near the appropriate level of wit or power to really do me any significant damage.  I just wanted this thread up here since the other was (correctly) taken down to serve as a shame record- in case any or all of these folks are let back here in the future. 

EDITED:  Apparently, SDGirl and Dingoboi were also included.  I think the list of targets for this whole thing speaks volumes:  myself, philly267, SDGirl, Dingoboi and Moffie.

For what it's worth,  this forum wouldn't be the same without Thunter34, Philly, Milker, Benj (needs a easier spelled name), and the rest (too many to name).  It's the ability to lighten the mood that lifts one's spirits.  There are days when the pressures of the job, HIV, etc. get to you and you can always get reassurance, a laugh, or a cry just by coming here.

So true... I do try and inject some humor on the board, but also as someone who has had HIV for 15-20 years, as well as an AIDS diagnosis way back then, been on all but about 3 of the currently available HIV medications at one time or another, inject myself twice daily with fuzeon -- I also feel I offer a lot on the "medical" side of the board too.

The thread in question from yesterday was posted by Ihavehope. He linked to a blog and said he was emailed the link.

After every single person who responded to the thread had nothing good to say about the blog, Ihavehope removed the link. The blog disappeared shortly after. It was nothing to do with us. The thread was binned because with the link missing, it no longer made sense.

While we all have our suspicions as to who was behind this childishness, we don't know for sure.

I was also included in this blog and to be honest, I could care less. It was obviously the work of an immature, attention-seeking troll.

I am locking this thread because the only purpose it serves is to give the troll responsible for the blog the attention he craves. Starve a troll of attention and they soon get bored and go away.

I'm sure we all have other, much more serious concerns to be directing our energies towards than stroking the ego of a troll.
