Val,

That link to porno you posted has been deleted. That wasn't even porno, it was abuse and not appropriate for these forums, with or without a disclaimer that it might not be viewing for everyone. Disgusting.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

No problem, Ann, I should (perhaps) have paid more attention to what I was doing, that's all.  My intention in posting it, though, was more a denunciation of a degrading state of some women than  anything else.  I wouldn't post pornography on this (or on any other)  site.  It is free and widely available on the Net.
In the future, I shall be much more careful with the handling of such material.  Note, though, that I did attach a red ink warning to it!  Knowing how sensitive Americans in general are regarding everything related to sex, I thought it was my duty to do it.
And finally, I apologize if I did hurt some people's sensitivity even though I think we're all adults here.

P.S. I will never tell anyone on this site to what kind of thread "they should stick to" no matter what they post.

Val,

But that's just it. We're NOT all adults here. While we do not expect people to only post things "suitable for the entire family", we do need to keep in mind some of our readers are under eighteen and leave hard-core videos out of it.

I would welcome a discussion on how videos like that perpetuate violence against women, but we don't need the graphic example in order to have an intelligent discussion about it.

Cheers,
Ann
