I am as smart in the computer area as I was in the safe sex area so I need some help. How do I insert a picture into one of my posts. I checked out HELP but found nothing and searched old topics and came up empty. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Click on "Additional Options" just to the bottom left of the white box where you type text to reply to a posting.
It brings up "Attach: ______________" , and then you hit the Browse button and choose which picture you want to attach, i.e. anything you have saved on your computer, (as long as it's one of the supported file types as indictated).
(it has to be less than 200KB and you can attach up to 4 per post, umm, just like it says below the Attach: box ;))

Alternatively you can enclose a url to an image in these tags:
[img] [/img]
thus:
[img]http://linktoimage.com[/img]
Photobucket or Imageshack are good free image hosting sites.

I thought I explained this pic, but maybe it was all done privately. So I'll state it for posterity.
Tim Hunter posted a "butterfly" thread in the Living With forum some time back about how his appearance varies depending on his mood or how he's feeling, and I concurred. Sometimes, especially when I'm feeling low, I see a face in the mirror that I hardly recognize. The reflection looks old, skinny, worn, bedraggled, used like a kleenex. At such times mirrors are not my friend.
About two months ago I treated myself out to a couple of drinks at one of the more popular dance/video clubs in Ft Lauderdale (Wilton Manors, actually) called Boom. I like it there because it's enough of a dive for me to feel at home but not so sleazy that I'm ashamed to admit it. I was chatting with a bud who seems to live on one of the barstools there, just gossiping and bullshitting. I felt relaxed and good and ducked into the men's room for a quick pee.
The men's room is small, and mirrors are installed on the upper portions of all four walls, so they are kinda unavoidable. I looked up and saw a face I hadn't seen in the mirror in...well...five or six years. I was mesmerized and astonished and stared as I pulled in front of the urinal (I really had to pee). It suddenly occurred to me that my phone has a camera and that, if it were real and not just beer goggles to my self-esteem, I should be able to capture it, so I did.
About a month prior I'd been happy enough (if not thrilled) to post this pic as my avatar:
