I need some creative assistance, please!

Greetings from Cape Town - South Africa,

I am a Life Coach with a large number of clients whom are HIV+...and so am I. A common requirement from all my HIV-clients are to link up with other people whom are POZ, but not with a social objective. The objective would be to support, educate and learn in a safe environment. We will also discuss coping skills, disclosing issues, side-effects from medication, serodiscordant relationships, prejudice, social issues etc.
All my clients are professional men (gay & straight).

Even-though there is huge support for people at grassroots-level in South Africa with HIV/Aids, there is a huge demand for professional support for professional people. Unfortunately this support is not always offered by clinical psychologists, medical practitioners and state institutions.

What I need help with is to come up with a name for the group - preferable an acronym. Ideally the acronym should not announce that it is for people with HIV/Aids, since confidentially is a huge factor for many of the clients and they would not want to belong to a group that is obviously for POZ people.

Hey Dem,

I have spent about 7 years on such committees and despise acronyms.  I have been:
Chair of Consumers Advcocacy Board (CAB)
Participating member od Persons Living With HIV/AIDS Committee (PAC)
A founding Member of Reentry Task Force (no acronym)
Member of Executive Committee (no acronym)
Member of Funding Allocation Working Group (FAWG)
2 years as Commissioner on the Commission on AIDS (COA)
A member of Treatment and Care Committee (no acronym)
Member of the Board of Directors of the AIDS Nutrition Bank (no acronym)

Eight committees in seven years and I am fried mentally.  I will give this some thought and get back in a few days.  Have the best day

i like peps or peeps. i really like peeps, its whats me & the homies call each other, like those are my peeps (flowcabulary for people).
Peps could be professional empowerment and positive support.
peeps could be professional emotional empowerment and postive support.
sppeak = support for positive professionals, empowerment, advancement & knowledge
sppell = support for positive professionals, empowement, living & learning
seal = support, empowerment, advancment & living
heal = health, empowerment, advancement & living. you could have a lot of fun with the a : ). acceptance is a good a one.

okay, im done for now. i know, it's corny, but it was a lil fun too!

PEEPS nails it -- with just a rearrangement of words:  Positive Emotional Empowerment (for) Professionals
Of course, Next2u's way is super too.

I really like PEEPS.  It is very discreet and gives nothing away about an individual's status.
