Title: abacavir and kidney disease

I am currently in end stage renal function and am taking abacivir. should I be concerned?  What would you suggest as alternatives?

Hey Platomark,

Abacavir is considered OK, Tenofovir is the drug more commonly associated with kidney issues - but not commonly.  What does your doc say?
