My Christmas wish list for you all
« on: December 06, 2006, 01:15:42 am »
Hi

Last year I posted my Christmas hopes for everyone,  because we have so many new family members I thought I would put it up again this year...these are my hopes for you all.

Happiness is a state of mind that sometimes requires a conscious effort on your part, choosing to be happy while coping with your HIV, although challenging, is far better than the alternative, I hope you can make our own happiness wherever you can find it.

Always keep your eyes, your minds and your hearts open to the wonders that surround you..it's there you just have to look around you, I hope you will be able to see the beauty.

Pace yourselves, not only through the holidays or bad day, but over the long haul...I hope you take life easy.

Prepare to accomplish your life goals despite HIV, dare to believe that you have the ability to be anything you want to be, dare to believe in yourself and I hope you can do it to the best of your ability.

You may have some painful memories in your past, we all do, I hope you hold on to those that are most dear and let the rest go, carrying excess baggage becomes an unnecessary burdon.

Hope springs eternal life..in your darkest moments of despair I hope you let a tiny flicker of hope light your way.

Open your hearts to each other, family and friends..don't put up barriers, I hope your hearts remain an open to the love that is out there.

Laugh freely and laugh often.

Indestructable spirit..face whatever HIV throws your way with strength and courage, everyone has a story to tell and everyone has the strength and courage to face up to this formidable foe we call HIV....I hope you all find the strength.

Days of serenity amid the often chaotic, up and downs of the rollercoaster ride we all go through with HIV..I wish you days of wellness amidst the days of pain and confusion

Adaptability to adjust to the changes that HIV will bring into your lives, I hope you use this to turn negative experiences into positive ones.

You and only you can choose what path to take, it's your choice...I hope you make the right decision.

Surround yourselves with those who will provide you with limitless support, those who will give you comfort and offer to be a source of strength for the times when you aren't feeling quite so strong..I hope your support system never fails you.

These are the things I wish and hope for you all....and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy a great New Year.

Love and hugs to you all
Jan :-*

Annie,

Thanks for the holiday wishes!

I wish I could emigrate to New Zealand but I know my dogs and cats would have to undergo a year's quarantine before they would be allowed to live with me (unless the law has changed within the last 5 - 10 years).

Happy Holidays!
