I am HIV- & my boyfriend is HIV+. Condem broke during anal sex, he was pulling out just as he was ejaculating.
My physician said I missed the window for PEP. He took some blood for an HIV test and said I should get tested regularly now. My boyfriend has been 'undetectable' for almost a year. I am still at risk, right? Thanks...

Yes you are still at risk. You should be tested at least annually. Make sure you are using condoms correctly. Ann has a link at the bottom of her posts giving the information.

LP,
Roddles is right -- you were at risk and you should test in 13 weeks. The likelihood of you being infected is low, but you still need to test.
If you'd like to talk with other partners of HIV positive people, you're welcome to post in our Someone I Care About Has HIV (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?board=17.0) forum.

Thanks to both of you for the responses. I knew I was at risk, just wanted to confirm that with someone here. This is an excellent forum. I appreciate all the information supplied and the honesty from everyone!
I'll check out that other topic as well. I'll keep you posted on my test results! Thanks, again!

Given that this was a single incident and that you were protected until the condom broke, the odds are in your favor that you will test negative.
Get tested at 13 weeks past the most recent risky incident. Make sure to use latex condoms that fit properly and are currently dated.
Good luck with your test and keep us posted.

Thanks, again for the information. I received the results of my first test... Negative!
I already made note of getting retested in 13 weeks. I'll keep you posted. Have a good night!

That's very happy news and I am sure a great relief to you and to your bf.
As long as you guys consistently use condoms for intercourse you will be well protected against HIV transmission.
Odds are you will continue to test negative as you had only a single possible exposure and you were protected until the condom broke.
Good luck with your 13 week test.
Cheers,

Thanks, I'll keep you posted on the results of my 13 week test.
