Side effect
« on: August 27, 2013, 11:46:00 pm »
I've been on Reyataz/Norvir/ Viread/ Isentress for w while now and sometimes I'm experienced irregular heart beat (palpitation), I only sleep about 5-6 hours per night and sometimes I have loose stool also. I don't know if any of you guys are on the same regimen like I do and any side effect that you've seen. Send me some feed back please.

Hi there, is this your first therapy ? Loose stool is possible but temporary and sleeping problems definitely a side effect ...
Heart palpitation sounds more like anxiety to me.
In any case you should talk about it with your doc.

Cheers

I did talk to my doctor and he took Norvir off the regimen and increase Reyataz to 400 mg. So now I will take Reyataz (400 mg) with Viread and Isentress. Let see what will happen :)
By the way my Cd4 is in the 400 and I've been UD for almost 2 years

Interesting but to my mind odd decision, since both Norvir and Reyataz can affect the heart, and it is generally recommended not to use unboosted Reyataz with Viread. Might be OK at the higher dose especially with Isentress, but to my mind some tests would have been in order to establish what was going on.
