« on: September 11, 2008, 06:31:43 pm »
Hi,

I've gone to the normal dosage of viramune 1tab 2 daily and for a week i was fine. This week has been weirdi. I got a slight rash that disappearred in a day, terrible nausea, hot flushes and today when i woke up the bags under my eyes were black as anything. I just got my liver function test results back and they are fine... I guess i'm stressing due to the liver issues with viramune my doc says i've picked up a bug but i just don't feel right...... Any advice....

Hi,

When I started on viramune, almost five years ago, I remember having my skin get a reddish in color, but not really a rash, and having a slight nausea. But it didn't last, but a couple of days.

It looks as though your doctor is monitoring you quite well.  Your liver tests are good, and your rash disappeared. Your doc could be right, you may just have a bug.  How have you been sleeping? You need to try to get at least 8 hours of sleep a day. Also, if your taking the viramune on an empty stomach, you may want to try, having some food or light snack, 15 minutes or so before taking your meds.

Take care----Ray

Sooooo annoyed as he said they were not symptoms and basically shouldn't waste his time but that will be $60....

This morning i woke up with darker circles and pussie eyes.... I'm finding that i feel like i'm speeding all the time and have a really dry mouth my blood pressure is low and my pulse is a little high however i think thats more that i'm agitated than anything

i'm confused as i knew what to expect with stocrin but i'm lost with viramune
