Going on a mini vacation...
« on: September 30, 2008, 07:06:05 pm »
My two sons will miss me when I go to California to visit my daughter.  She goes to an Episcopal private school.  I actually am going to visit my family, which helped me make the discission to send my daughter to this school, since both are in the same place.
I did not like California for awhile because it is where I was infected.  Something really weird!  The man who infected me called me for help some time back, he wanted to know where I had gotten my medical care.  I helped him and it helped me!  He is married and had a virus free baby some years ago.
Well my trip will be fun.  I plan to go out to lunch with my Mother, Brother, and Sister.  I never got along with these people while I was growing up.  I was a book worm, laying around reading my historic gothic or romance novels.
I love my family after posting the last post about them, I spoke with them on how I felt.  They had some pretty serious points to make also.
Really I am excited because I get to cook for my Mother also, show her a new recipe...  Well new to me, I hope I impress her.  After all my father is a chef so it will be hard.  My father actually grew up in world war 11 norway.  He has been a chef since 1960.  He moved here permanently the year I was born.
As for my two sons they might just tear up the house while I am gone, so I will have a mess to clean when I get back home.  They will be two on December 6.
After my vacation I have to get back to my cooking classes.

I am glad that you are excited about going to see your your family, it sounds like good times. My family just moved to Florida and I am counting down the days until I have some vacation hours accrued to go visit them and they have only been gone a month! I hope your recipe impresses your family, especially your father. Have fun and enjoy every moment!
