HIV is a fragile virus. It is not passed from environmental objects such as dildos, whips and such.

The ONLY confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and oral intercourse. As long as you consistently use condoms for those activities you will be well protected against the transmission of HIV.

There is no need for further HIV testing on your part.

Whatever is causing your symptoms has nothing to do with HIV. Consult your doctor if they persist. This is not an HIV situation.

Hi thank you for your fast reply.

Did forget to mention that I am pretty sure those things have been used on other clients (male). Also the oral dildo had no condom on it.

Kind Regards

Ace,

As Andy told you, hiv is NOT transmitted from objects in the environment. For this reason, it does not matter that there was no condom on the dildo for oral. Oral isn't a risk anyway, even if you're giving it to a real live dick.

You did not have a risk and you do not need further testing concerning this experience. You do not have hiv.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED FURTHER TESTING OVER ANYTHING THAT HAPPENED WITH THE DOMINATRIX, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Ace,

What do you have to wait for? You are conclusively hiv negative. You do NOT have hiv!

Doubts and fears aren't facts. There is nothing in what you have reported which suggests you were at risk for HIV. And now, sores on your knees?

Sexually HIV is confirmed to be transmitted only through unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. That's it.

The toys which were used during your incident would no doubt have been used previously. HIV is a fragile virus and is not passed through such environmental objects.

You are worrying yourself needlessly. Cut out the drama and get on with your life.

Thank you for the responses. One last question. Why is it mentioned a lot that sharing sex toys is dangerous for HIV  if it can not be transmitted by objects?

thanks
kind regards

I don't know where you are getting that admonition about sex toys. All I can reiterate is that HIV is a fragile virus and when exposed to the air is immediately affected by several factors that break down its infectiousness.

I've never known of a confirmed case of transmission of HIV via sex toys.

The CDC is VERY conservative in these matters. All I can is I have never seen confirmation anywhere of transmission via sex toys. And it doesn't make sense in relation to HIV science to think HIV is going to remain viable on sex toys.

But I always tell people that sexually you should only do things you are comfortable with. If you are going to hang on to the fears about toys, (which I don't consider a risk), then only use your own.

Frankly, I don't have anything more to say about this particular concern of yours. You're HIV negative and in terms of sexual risk you will stay that way as long as you consistently use condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse. Yes, it really is that simple as Ann likes to say.
