FDA Approves Generic Versions of Ambien to Treat Insomnia
FDA has approved the first generic versions of the insomnia drug Ambien (zolpidem tartrate). The agency has given 13 manufacturers approval to produce the generics.

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 UPDATED: As of April, 2nd 2024,Viral load Undetectable.
CD 4 @593 /  CD4 % @ 18 %

Lymphocytes,total-3305 (within range)

cd4/cd8 ratio -0.31

cd8 %-57

thanks, I wish I had known about it before I got my rx filled; I paid over $120.00 for the brand name not knowing any better.

I am not sure if ithe generic version is manufactured yet, by those company's, but it will certainly be a major savings.

I was buying Zocor @ 50.00 a month. The generic version is 10 dollars a month.

Good thing I get mine through my own, um....prescription assistance program.    8)

I used to think generics were identical to name brand, but I've been reading on here (the forums) that people are switching back from Atripla (sustiva and truvada) to Sustiva and Truvada separately because of side effects. 

That, to me is amazing and scary.  Why would there be a difference in the combo pill that is supposed to be nothing more than the two brands in one pill?
