Postive again!
« on: June 22, 2012, 10:42:38 pm »
Finally figuring out the core issues of what's been wrong with me lately.  Through my entire fight of this virus, I held hope and usually viewed the positive things in life.  Lately, I've turned into that person who continually sees what's wrong with something instead of seeing what's right.

My new negativity towards everything destroys people and I'm glad I'm finally aware what I have to change.  I'll stop owning others' negativity and look for their positives.  This isn't a change that others have suggested, it's what I finally figured I needed in order to be that person I was for a long time.  I liked that person much more, and I'm sure others do to.

I apologize to any here whom I might have been snarky with.

You're all free to call me on this if it happens.  Just mention snarkiness, and I'll re-evaluate.

Thanks all!

Sounds like a good plan.  However, I must have missed the threads where you were snarky.  I always try to see the positives in people, even when they are very negative.  I hope they do with me.

Wolfie are you really ok these days, weeks?  Some of your new posts have been, I dunno,  a bit all over the map.  What about the job situation and the harassment?  Has that calmed back down?

Thanks guys.  I really appreciate the comments.  I've been struggling and am past the worst of it.  I finally attended my first live support group and it was strange and beneficial at the same time.

I did recognize that I was/am in need of some sort of help and sought it out.  I have been feeling like my brain is like a balloon that is over filled and ready to explode.  But the last few days have been great and I'm seeing and feeling hope again that all will be OK.  I don't know where this is all rooted but I do know external situations shouldn't be having the influence that it was.

Thanks again.

I've given up the white zin for a while trying to figure this mental chaos out, but I'll gladly sit down with you all all and pop a top.

Thanks Den, I would love to meet someone and have the kind of relationship Bill and I enjoyed for almost 20 years.  The problem is, seems most of the age appropriate gays guys died....I hate to admit it, but that's why agreeing to attend a support group was easier.  No one struck my fancy this time, but I'll keep going....you never know.

The living arrangements aren't that bad really.  I'm not jumping into buying until I find the perfect house for me.  My realtor is probably getting frustrated with me, but he is not finding me that ideal place that just makes me HAVE  to have it.  Plus it affords me to continue saving and allows me to feed my shopping addiction. :o  Momma travels so often that it's like living alone anyways.

Take care, I'm off to work my 2nd shift today.

I truly want to send my thanks to you all.  I'm coming out of this funk and realize it's not just one issue.  It's a culmination of this disease of a long time.  At this point, it's irrelevant what caused this episode but I'm once again back and ready to do what's needed to move on.

Thanks .

Wolfie.

Wow, looking back, I was in a bit of a dark period for a while 8)

The home front issue might be changing soon.  I found a house that was up for foreclosure auction that I missed out on.  I didn't know at the time that it was bank that outbid me.

It's a perfect little home for me and is next door my brother and has an acre of land.  This is technically in a different village but only a mile to the lake.  The bank listed the property with an agent and I placed a bid on it.  My realtor indicates this could be a lengthy process but I'll wait.

I've mostly given up on my dream of living on the lake proper, but close proximity will do for now.
