HIV - perhaps the usual paranoia
« on: December 09, 2011, 11:29:11 am »
ok my scenario was -

In total sex with 2 transgenders at 3 different times in Asia.

event 1) protected anal sex, unprotected oral, some cum on my outer lip but no cuts or sores, I believe this to be no risk?

2) protected anal sex, again unprotected oral, finished with mutual masturbation, again I believe to be low/no risk?

3) sex with the same person as number 2, again protected anal sex but unprotected oral, got cum in my face at the end, no stinging eyes so I dont think any did but am worried some cum may have got in eye!

All of these episodes had no ejaculation during the oral, possibility of precum as ever i guess. They have all been spread over the last 2 months I guess.  I am now convinced I have symptoms, ie swollen glands etc.

Cab abnyone roughly assess my risks here? I am getting tested this week but was wondering if anyone could help give advice here.

Many thanks x

Nothing you have done is a risk of HIV transmission.

Nothing you are reporting of your activities put you at risk for HIV.

It's not whom you are with but what you DO with your partners that defines what is risky. In these instances you used condoms everytime for intercourse. That's exactly what you are supposed to do because condoms provide very effective protection against HIV transmission. Only unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse are confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV.

We do advise anyone who is sexually active that at least once a year to have a full STD panel done. Other STDs are much easier to acquire than HIV.

Swollen lymph nodes happen for all sorts of reasons and are definitely not an HIV specific occurence.

I expect you to test negative and testing is strictly for your peace of mind since you did not have a risk.

Hey, thank you so much for your replies,so neither unprotected oral or possible cum in the eye put me at any risk?
