5 year anniversary soon. Geez
« on: January 01, 2013, 05:03:14 am »
Where do the years go? Happy new year.

It's my diagnosis anniversary on 15th Jan. 5 years. Time to reflect.

I am well, healthy and successful. I'm the best uncle in the world to my little relatives. I'm top of my game.

Yeah, I'm single, but so what. Noone I've met yet is my standard. I'm honest and real. They aren't.

So, HNY. I reckon 2013 can and will be fuckin brilliant.

Hugs to all.

Auspoz.

auspoz, there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with being single. It's amazingly stress-free.

I agree Miss P.  Single is stress-free.  I don't think i could handle dating at this point.  Maybe once i get into a right place.  But now i'm ok with the status quo.

As I've stated before, I've been going to the same support group for six years now. There's a handful of guys that are on the Eternal Dating Wheel program. Every month they seem to be dating someone different. Each guy seems to be "The One" but he's always scampered off by the next month. Seriously, shouldn't that tell you something about oneself? I'm not even sure whether I should feel sorry for them or not -- these are 40 year olds, not 20's, and they seem worse for the stress. I find it all very baffling.

Anyway, other guys can smell you when you're desperate. Or that's always been my theory.
