Truvada, Reyataz and Norvir

Anyone on these meds and have problems with being out in the sun?  It doesn't happen all the time but my arms can get very itchy with a slight rash.  It also happens sometimes when I drink wine.   Just wondering if anyone had the same thing happen to them.

Also, do you keep your Norvir in the fridge?

I'm on the same combo but have had no problems with the sun or itching..and it's pretty hot here at the moment.

I don't keep my Norvir in the fridge, if it's used within 30 days and stored at below 77F then it should be ok.

I am on this combo since almost 2 years now and have no problems going under the sun. I also drink red wine every day and have no particular reaction.

Well I guess that some people are more sensitive than others to this side effect.

Also,   I keep the norvir in the fridge but I know that this not necessary. Here is that Aidsmeds drug information says about it:

"Refrigeration of the Norvir capsules is recommended but is not necessary if they are used within 2 months and stored below 77° Fahrenheit (25° Celsius)."

Snow I too am on this combo - No rash but damm do I get the dry skin and itchy thing. Lots a lotion and sesame oil seem to help though. Have to watch my diet now, I'm sensitive to foods and get a grumbly stomach. Only other side effect is the whites of my eyes have gone a bit muddy due to an elevated billy rubin.

Regime beens good for me other then that. Counts are finally moving upward. Previous combos weren't as effective for me.

Agree with the others, you don't have to keep the norvir in the frig, but I do. Can't hurt.

im on the same combo and have no problems going in the sun but i do have the dry itchy skin. i keep my norvir in the fridge to be safe because i had it out one time and i guess it got too warm and the whole bottle stuck together.... it was a mess. you're sure to be safe by keeping it in the fridge.

I find I tan easier. Since I have by nature a pale type of "goth" complexion bloke I find this an advantage (personally). Never itched though.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

I was worried about the meds in fridge intially because I was going camping with my sons scout troop, it turned out to be freaking freezing(who knew your ass could be so cold, at least it didn't snow) so I needn't have worried :)
