Title: PLEASE talk me out of it!!!
Post by: puertorico2006 on May 03, 2007, 02:15:11 pm
AHHHHHHHHHH I want to go to GAYDAYS...a friend is offering to pay my flight to go visit him and go to gaydays...he even offered to pay for the hotel....but i am unemployed and still get stuck paying for tickets to parties and paying for drinks (believe me thats the most expensive part)....I am unemployed right now so i cant really afford it ...the only reason im considering it is because i got my student loan check which is supposed to go to pay off a minimal portion of my credit card debt.....

I am weak so i need people to say "bad josh" "dont do it"....ive been to gay days many times and the thought of 1/2 naked lean muscular bodies and drunk boys is quite hard for me to pass up ....

Then again id be racking up the frequent flier miles ...im visiting a friend in boston on the 17th and that ticket was donated to me :-D....GRRRR im weak sometimes

I always go to After Dark or Hide 'n Seek in Ft. Wayne to do my cruising, I have a couple friends who are like the ultimae fag hags, and the bars usually give out free pop to the designated driver.

Yeah, they charge that cause they consider a pop as a mixed drink, but what I don't get, is that most of their alcoholic drinks are cheaper than that.

I was wondering the exact same thing Philly!  And I remember he also mentioned going to school in Ft. Wayne.

Goodness, go and have fun.  No sense using non-dischargeable student loan debt to pay unsecured credit card debt.

Don't do it if you're that broke.  There's always a fun time to be had, so why not wait until you can do it worry free?  You can acheive greater rewards by learning to postpone pleasure in the short-term.

Here you go ---  "Bad Josh -- Don't do it."

I've been after my adult daughter for years to stop living beyond her means.  Neither she, nor her husband listen.  Then they cry because they can't afford things for their 3 kids and come crying to me.
Part of being an adult is knowing when to say, Yes and when to say, No.  Spending money that you don't have will only make you more unhappy down the road (I know -- I went that route too -- it took years and years and years to dig out).

Interesting thread. I have a room booked at the Hilton Tuscany in Orlando from 5/30 to 6/3, but know absolutley nothing about gay Orlando and definitely knew nothing about GAYDAYS~

I was going to reshedule it, but maybe I'll just get my ass to the gym each day between now and then.........

Sorry to be the tough-love Uncle here.  Maybe you can go after the next harvest.

PR,

You are 23 and from that tiny little pic, I think you must be cute as all hell.  Is the answer not obvious?  Find a nice older man and treat him right.  He will in turn pay off all your bills and and entertain you and many of your sweet boytoy friends in very nice fashion.  One to which you should become accustomed.  Quickly.  While young and full of cum....then when you are 40 you can express regrets for having a great time.

LOL been there, done that....It would be ok if they didnt fall in love   :-X because then they it get controlling and possesive....and i refuse to lie and say i love someone when i dont  ;D...actually i love my last "sugar daddy" but a a friend...hes actually one of my best friends hehehe...but i didnt feel comfortable with it although it doesnt sound half bad right about now..

I just couldnt stand to see him in love with me, and him know that i didnt love him like that, and then him thinking that it could change....it made me feel guilty because he was my friend....

I normally like older guys in general...but im not attracted to "old men" although im friends with anyone whos a decent person....
Title: Re: PLEASE talk me out of it!!!
Post by: Miss Philicia on May 04, 2007, 03:01:06 pm
I attempted a sugar daddy once when I was younger.  Had him eating out of my hands so much that after drinks at the then-trendiest "model hangout" bar in Manhattan and dinner at a new very expensive West Village restaurant I suggested a nightcap in a seedy bar where trannies were bartenders and there were copious amounts of Puerto Rican hustlers dealing coke in the bathrooms.   Mr. Sugar promptly pulled out wads of money for drugs upon request and then proceeded, at my suggestion, to procure the services of two delicious looking guys that we took home and fueled them with ecstasy.  Fortunately this arraignment allowed for me not to have to actually have much of any sex with Mr. Sugar, though he seemed so very much more interested in me than in the hustlers... it's was a very, very messy evening.

I assumed that this Broadway producer would be so disgusted with my utter lack of grace and etiquette that he'd never ask me out again, BUT NO.  It's like he was turned on even more.  Poor guy... I had to let him down easily.  He would have been a perfect Mr. Sugar though, but I just don't have it in me to do that.  Of course, I'm too old now to contemplate such things but this particular evening was quite amusing... plus it has allowed me to hijack a thread.

LOL i did....but your attractive so its different :-)

Philly I have it in me ...all those years working as a stripper taught me to be able to do it...but it takes to much time out of my personal life when they fall in love, and then you meet someone and then they wont date you because they think your scum...so i prefer to be broke (well not really but you know what i mean)

Tsk tsk tsk.  You let them fall in love and you allow that you are also in love or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof.  You then manage to acquire massive liquid assets.  One night, your overwhelming charms goads Mr. Sugar into a fatal heart attack....

Hey, I'm glad I'm not the only one who worked in the much enamoured profession of exotic dancing!  For me, though, since I'm a switch hitter, I could get sugar daddys and sugar mamas! :D  Oh well, wish I still had my old 17-year old body!  24 years ages a person! :D

although I am loathe to do so, Hewitt has an office there that provide translation/interpretor services out of San Juan.  I'm not sure if you are close to there and I can't say that being pozzie is any kind of a plus in hiring practices, but if you want a referral code, PM me and i'll give you details.

I talk to them all day so if you want, I can find out specific contact information on how to apply there.

I was a dancer for about 3 years...i LOVED it for the first 2 then got sick of it.....but i dont regret it at all because it changed me from "innocent naive blonde fool" to someone who sees the world for what it reallly is (the good and the bad)...

Unfortunatly i never found a sugar daddy in his 90's or 80's so the CROAKING part didnt happen hahaha....but i didnt purposly make them fall in love with me, in fact i was honest about my feelings hehe

Thunter..want the pics then i need an email address haha :-)

Little known fact of Joseph:

Joseph is a classically trained ballerino from the University of Iowa, and studied for about 5 years at the Graham School of Contemporary Dance in NYC.

Which, of course, explains why he's a good administrative assistant.  LOL

My only connection to the world of dancing is my affiliation with Madonna's back up dancers during the Blonde Ambition Tour.  I will not, however, elaborate as it is incriminating.

Slam was an asshole.

He was a guest choreographer at the Broadway Dance Center, and though his movements were pretty good, in the teacher's lounge, he asked me if I would go and get him a sandwich from the bodega downstairs, to which I replied, "No", and then he said, "I was in Madonna's Blonde Ambition World Tour," to which I replied, "NICE."  and then he said, "now will you go get me a sandwich?"  I told him he was an asshole, and left.

I never met any of the other dancers.

Slam was indeed an asshole but we paid her dust.  The main one I knew was Jose Xtravaganza, he of the cone bra scene and fellow Aquarian.

I was such a madonna freak. LOL

although, I will say, I watched the DVD "I'm gonna tell you a secret" that came with the cd not too long ago.  And I think Old Maddy has gone through quite the spiritual change...  especially since the Blonde Ambition tour (which Aside from The Girlie Show is the best tour she's ever done)...

Well, the deal with Jose is that pretty much Madonna based the entire "Vogue" concept, which then morphed into the Blond Ambition Tour, from seeing him and Luis on the dance floor at Sound Factory, this legendary after hours club in the late 80's/early 90's in Manhattan.  Naturally I was a charter card-carrying member.  I remember the night that Jose returned from the tour and turned out this head to toe hand beaded Gaultier body suit that Dita had bought for him in Paris, and of course within months he'd hocked it for some dope.  Then again he was arrested once for shoplifting at Woolworth's on 34th Street... a tragic figure but loads of fun if you could manage to keep him at arm's length.  Unfortunately he turned one of my best friends into a heroin addict and he's currently clean but now addicted to continual NA meetings for the past 2 years.

I have some pictures stashed somewhere of him vogueing in my palatial living room back in Brooklyn where I used to throw scandalous after parties fueled by massive amounts of feline tranquilizers.

I never ate at that one for some reason, but I used to eat at the large downtown Woolworth's in Richmond.  They had a delightful U-shaped balcony dining counter straight out of central casting.  I recall however that I didn't start indulging in this until my last year or so living there... what a shame!
