Does anyone know what generation test the OraQuick Rapid Advance Hiv 1/2 is? Any info would be very helpful and well as what sub types this picks up... I had a low risk oversees exposure and am anxious about my 11 1/2 week test results. Please help.

The Advance is a relatively new test. It will pick up all known strains that you would be concern with. What is your concern over? Most tests don't go by generations. OraQuick Advance HIV 1/2 is a new test.

My concern is that it does not pick all known sub types - I was oversees and had extremely low risk exposure - I sucked on a strippers nipple a few times and it felt like some breast milk came out ( she had a young child ). I have had some crazy things happening to my body the last three months that I have never felt before and need to put this to rest. I want to make sure the test picks up all KNOWN sub types and is a 3rd or 4th generation test ( most accurate I believe ). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are not going to get infected by sucking on someone's nipple that you THINK had breast milk one time.

Hiv infected breast milk is only a potential danger to babies, who depend on breast milk for ALL their nutritional needs.
Even if this woman is hiv positive, you did NOT have a risk by getting a bit of breast milk in your mouth. No way. Not one adult has ever been infected through breast milk and you won't be the first.

My infections disease doc said it was a potential but very low risk - either way does anyone have any info on the OraQuick Rapid Advance test? Generation? Sub Types? - the exposure was in Portugal with a girl from Brazil so I want to be sure it captures all to put my crazy mind at rest. Please any info will help.

As long as you test at 13 weeks it doesn't matter what generation test you're using. At that point in time they will all give you a reliable result.
Your mind is going to town on this incident, maybe because you're (mis)interpreting the woman's ethnicity and other factors as having put you at higher risk. Of course you have absolutely no basis in HIV science for your fears since as you have been told there is no risk from having sucked the woman's nipple. Period.
Read the lesson on this site about HIV transmission which you can find a link to in the Welcome thread which opens this section. In "theory" any sexual act except self-masturbation carries some risk for HIV transmission. But in the real world of HIV we know there's no basis in fact for thinking you were at risk. No kidding.
Take a deep breath and put this behind you.

Would a 11 1/2 week negative test be considered conclusive? I have one scheduled at 87 days 12 1/2 weeks. I am just a wreck over this - my body is going crazy and I cant seem to get my mind off the hiv component and the possibility that the test may not factor in all sub types. I think the anxiety has really taken its toll over the last 8 weeks since I began worrying. I just wish my "symptoms" ( my armpits are swollen and tender 5 weeks now but all else is fine. ENT says I have shotty nodes on my neck, my blood tests show high WBC count but nothing else. ) would go away and that I could find something that indicates it looks for all known sub types.

It doesn't matter what test you take you were never at risk. You might consider seeing a mental health professional to deal with your unwarranted worries.

REALLY REALLY look at what people have said. Totally understand your fears but there is just NO record of transmission this way. Your physical symptoms may be as a result of stress or another, harmless infection. Unless you have put yourself at risk in other ways your risk is INFINITESIMAL. Please.please just try and take it easy. I know how bad you must be feeling but you may well be exacerbating symtoms by your state of mind. I wish I Could take the fear from you and I wish you well and secure.
The only other thing I'll say is that,if by some great misfortune,it is HIV, its NOT the end of the world, I PROMISE you.

I had a negative standard antibody test at 80 days 11 and 1/2 weeks. The next available time to take one would be at 87 days 12 and 1/2 weeks. Would a87 day test be considered conclusive? I had very low risk exposure - although I still have major tenderness around my underarms ( 6 weeks now ) and some shotty nodes in my neck. I feel fine just don't know why these things won't go away.

You didn't have a risk. Your negative result is NOT going to change. You ARE hiv negative, period, end of story.
