I read a news story about Egrifta, I think in POZ.

While it sounds promising, my understanding is that it is by injection only and would be yet another life-long comittment.

I also wonder what the cost will be and whether insurers will pay for it.

But, this is hopeful news, nonetheless.

I talked with my  Dr at my regular checkup yesterday...  he said it really does work and it has to be continued indefinately....  yes by injection once a day...typically loses about 18% of the internal fat  ,...  he had the actual data sheets collected for the testing period  and was convinced it does what it says......   as always some results were much better than others....   he advised waiting for a few months to see what happens in the general population will see him in October and talk again....  if  it is discontinued the buildup returns..

Has anyone tried this product already ?

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has used it that also has Type II diabetes.
