It's not HIV that will kill me
« on: June 09, 2013, 09:50:12 am »
Ok
I am beyond frustrated and maybe just curious any more. No I lied I still want to meet a woman to date and hopefully more.
There was an organization in Olympia named UCAN which had social events which I never attended. They have merged with an agency in Tacoma. A gentlemen who is assisting me with dental work said they no longer have a budget for any social activities where I might meet someone
The best advice I have received was when I asked my doctor where to meet women he said wait outside my office. It must have been the look that came over me that prompted him to say don't do that and we laughed. Hmm
AIDS won't kill me but loneliness might

   Hi   ilbcnutoo  ,

Your doctors advice may have  shocked you , But in
all reality  it is good advice !
I have met so many nice HIV POZ  people waiting at my clinic .

To find people of your own type  you have to go where they go .

I was told that years ago and it works for all types of relationships .
Weather in career or hobby or  just hanging out , The people that are
   similar will be attracted .

I wish you happiness and good luck in finding a mate

To meet HIV+ friends or possible partners, you'll have to make al iist of every possible place or activity that might bring you in contact, and make a point of trying some, and see how it pans out.
Also, may I ask, you don't have to limit your search to HIV+ people. That's fine, maybe easier for a relation.
But friendships are not build on a shared health condition, in most cases.
Nor are relationships.
There are plenty of sero-discordant relationships.  So that is possible.  And there are more HIV- fish in your sea.  So don't count them out.
