For our Dear friend Ric

For Ric

The departed they sleep a long, long sleep
The departed they rest, and their rest is deep
The departed have peace, it's only the living weep.

I have wept so many tears for you Ric..you were taken too soon.
I will remember you always.

In Love and sadness

I remember his wedding in Montreal and how happy they both were that day.  I feel very sad for Ric to have been taken away so young.  I also feel sad for his partner who did not get to spend very many married years with him.    :-[

Dearest Thom,

“In one sense there is no death.  The life of a soul on earth lasts beyond their departure.  You will always feel that life touching yours, that voice speaking to you, that spirit looking out of other eyes, talking to you in the familiar things they touched, worked with, loved as familiar friends. They live on in your life and in the lives of all others who knew them.”

Dear Tom,

You are missed, will always be remembered and I count myself grateful at having been able to dance at your wedding in Montreal.

It is one year since Ric died. Jan (AnnieBC) is away with her family and asked me to note this sad anniversary.

Jan was very close to Ric and his death was source of enormous pain to her. The same applies to many others in this place, Ric touched many lives and is missed terribly.

Our thoughts go out to Ric's beloved husband Thom and we hope he is well.
