Pioglitazone (Actos) for Lipoatrophy -- Any News?

Not sure if this belongs here or in the lipo forum, but here goes . . .
Was wondering if anyone knew anything more about the studies into the use of Actos to treat lipoatrophy. My recollection was that a group of doctors in France, led by Willy Rozenbaum, were conducting further research into using Actos as a therapy for lipo, but I haven't been able to find anything recent on where this stands. Anyone have further info?
