I don't have a clue ! I asked Ed to listen to it, he doesn't know it either.  But it sure goes well with the video.

THanks Ray!

Hint on the song...
Its was not available until lately. Only 1000 copies printed.
Its from a film shot here in iOwa in the 1970's.
Stared many famous people before they were famous.
Main star had a very popular 1960's b&w weekly tv comedy series.
THe film was about a nasty habbie some folks pick up.

BTW, Im redoing the youtube (a learning process).
Still getting use to this new editor. Lots of nifty effects.

It was a film in the 1970's that was filmed here. Has a lot of "then" unknown stars before they became household names.

Jean Stapleton (edith - all in the family) for one.
Edward Everett Horton's last movie.
Other stars:
Tom Poston
Bob and Ray
Bob Newhart
Dick Van Dyke

Very close Rondrond...
It was Cold Turkey. The song is actually REVEREND RUNNING by Randy Newman.
They just released the sound track, only 1000 copies will be printed.
Most all music was by Randy Newman. (And I thought he only did vocals.)

One night back in 1970 ? we drove up to Greenfield, iowa @ 11pm to see the filming of the last scene of the city folks in the town square getting the 25 mill check. I stood right by Jean Stapleton and never thought to get her autograph. She was an unknown to me and "all in the family" was not on tv yet.
Didn’t know she would become a household name in a few years.

It was a corny little film. Made during the Nixon years. Ever since, every couple of years or so, many of the still living stars gather in Greenfield, iOwa for a reunion. I guess the little town of Greenfield made an impression on the cast. Most of the cast lived with towns people in their homes while shooting the film.

I could tell you a lot of stats and trivia about the film and the making of it.
The scene at the end where the towns people yell "put it to a vote", I was there somewhere in the crowd shouting too.

I remember many here were shocked the film was rated PG and had what was considered then, pretty bad language.
When it was shown locally here, my parents didn’t want me to go see it because of the bad language, they read was in the film. But naturally I went anyway.

After the film my dad picked me up in the car and ask how bad was the language, and I said "it wasn’t anything worse than you hear around the house".
Luckily my dad was driving and too busy to turn around and smack me. But I know he wanted to.
What I said to him was true, however. BS, GD and SOB were often heard around the good old household. That was the extend of the bad language in the movie too.
And when I think about South Park and today’s tv...
