Title: Can anyone help with a printing problem?
Post by: cmhjeff on July 15, 2006, 11:28:17 am
For you computer savy people - when printing from the web we get this error message

An Error Has Occurred in the Script on this page

93

Access in Denied

 res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Printing from email or MSWord is generally okay. I'd say it happens about 75% of the time when printing from the internet.  My BF  has tried everything, any suggestions???

Thanks
Jeff

I am about as computer literate as a chimp...but I do know that from time to time I send myself an email so that I can print it out.  If you are in a wbsite and can copy and paste the document into an email and send it to yourself....then it prints out.
Just my 2 cents

I've seen that message from a guy who used AOL.  He always got that message when printing from AOL.  Even though Word worked ok, we installed all the Service Packs and updates for MS Office and it took care of the printing problem in Internet Explorer, but not AOL.  You can get Office updates at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx).  I'm not sure that this will help your problem, but it might.  I know Word prints fine on your system (it did on the one we worked on too), but Word and Internet Explorer share a lot of common files.  Good luck.

Hey Jeff...

You may need to uninstall the printer and then reinstall it.  I had to do this a couple of times over the past two years due to Spyware.  Just a suggestion...... :P
