What I am Michael is a 32 year-old, ugly, pock marked Jew fairy, and if it takes me a little while to pull myself together, and if I smoke a little grass before I get up the nerve to show my face to the world, it's nobody's god damned business but my own. And how are you this evening?

I just read this today and it just made me giggle and smile.

'A moment I've been dreading. George brought his ne're-do-well son around this morning and asked me to find the kid a job. Not the political one who lives in Florida. The one who hangs around here all the time looking shiftless. This so-called kid is already almost 40 and has never had a real job. Maybe I'll call Kinsley over at The New Republic and see if they'll hire him as a contributing editor or something. That looks like easy work.'

This isn't really a quote in the normal sense - but I saw a Tshirt today on a rather large woman that had this huge cross on it and the wording inside the cross said:

                           Jesus
                      Beat The Hell
                           Right
                            Out
                             of
                            me

reminded me of a very pathetic encounter I had with Boy George...I was at XL for Faggot Feud and realized that he was sitting two tables away from me.  I spent the entire show getting drunk, flirting with Amanda Lepore and smiling at Boy George thinking I should say something to him.

So when the show was over and I was drunk enough I approcahed him (and his posse of hanger-ons) and said the first think that came to my mind - "Thank you for the music"

He said you are welcomed, I turned around - heard something mumbled and then the cackles began.

Oh boy - what a maroon I was!

"Children are starving in our country. The Middle East is on the brink of war at any given moment. Gas prices continue to be on the rise. The Government still continues to bulldoze civil rights. Unemployment continues to rise. And your worried about MY sexuality?"
