hello....i am very new in this forum and i have very limited knowldge abt hiv.i slept with a CSW few days ago.there was no oral sex no vaginal intercrse...wat actually i did fingering the woman for few mins..at tat time i did nt feel like i have any cut in my finger.but 4 days after the event i noticed two small round spots on my finger as it looks like.i find it round spot.suddenly it came in my mind tat if there was bleeding from there when i was fingering.but i did not feel like any pain in my finger during fingering..
1.was it possible tat my finger was bleeding without any pain..as i have not watched my finger at tat time?
2.could i knw if there was bleeding in my finger..such as pain or itching??
3.if there was bleeding then wat was the hiv risk?can i get hiv from fingering a woman with bleeding finger?
4.wat kind of cut sud be there to be of any risk?
5.every were i find it open bleeding and fresh cut....so wat is fresh cut??if there is a cut 30 mins ago can i call it a fresh cut? wat is open wound??
6.plz say wat kind of cut to be any risk?wd example?and how much time before fingering event can it be call fresh cut?

You are worrying unnecesarily. There was no risk for HIV in any of the activities you are reporting.

Sexually the only confirmed risks for the transmicion of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as condoms are used consistently for those activities you will be well protected even if you are with someone who is HIV positive.

It really is that simple. There is no need for testing nor for further concern on your part about this recent incident.

thanks....today i talked with our family doctorabouth the incident and also see THE BODY....DR BOB in the body and our family doctor said tat if blood from my finger comes in contct with vaginal fluid then for sure i will catch hiv..m getn so tensed..feeling suicidal...plz varify tis...

plz verify me tat if there was bleeding from my finger then wat will be hiv risk..i forget to mention tat i also licked the nipples of the csw...if i consume breast milk ten wat will be my hiv risk

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child

ok but how u r telling out side the body...fingering is in the body when my finger goes inside vagina..same fr sucking breast tat is inside my mouth...so plz clarrify it...y in the body forum dr bob is saying fingering is a risk if there is break in the skin...plz say some thing..

The area of the vagina where HIV can be found is high up in the cervix and not where you would likely be fingering which is the labial area.

Only an infant is vulnerable to the breast fluids of an HIV+ woman because the infant's own immune system doesn't kick in until approximately 6 months. An adult is not at risk from the breast milk of an HIV+ woman.

You are worrying needlessly. Get on with your life.

Wrong! As you were already advised you never had an exposure and you were given the situations of how HIV is transmitted.

How much simpler and clearer can we say it? The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse.

That's it. Really. You are worrying needlessly and there is really nothing more we can say about this concern of yours except that it is totally unfounded in terms of any real risk for HIV.

thanks for your great advise.But actually other government sites and few forums are saying that fingering vagina is risky for HIV transmission only if there is break or deep cut in finger...but you are saying that in the real world this kind of transmission never takes place..but this does not necessarily means that this cant happen..can you kindly clarify it....So if i go for a test then you are sure that it will be negative ?thanks

If you continue surfing the web I can assure you that you will find material to feed your worst fears. And all to no good purpose.

Theoretically anything other than sex with your own hand is potentially a risk. But in the real world of HIV we know that confirmed risk is about unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse.

If you can't accept that then get tested at 3 months and collect the inevitable negative result. At this point there's nothing more for us to say about your incident.

We're not going to indulge you in taking your speculative what ifs seriously. You did not have a risk for HIV.

If you return with more of this kind of stuff you are going to find yourself getting a Time Out for 28 days. Consider yourself warned. HIV is not your problem. Period.

yesterday i visited a CSW.had vaginal intercrse with two condoms.after that i tested it with water and found that there ws no leakage.and the sperm was inside.
1)I was not sure that the condom ws latex or lamskin....as the condom was provided by CSW..
2)I know that the CSW will not use lmbskin condom...CAN YOU PLEASE CLARIFY ME THAT SIZE OF HIV PARTICLE IS SMALLER THAN WATER MOLECULE.AS THERE WAS NO LEAKAGE OF WATER THAT MEANS THE CONDOM WAS NOT LAMBSKIN...PLZ CLARIFY IT
3)CAN WATER PASS THROUGH LAMBSKIN CONDOM??AS THE PORES OF LAMBSKIN CONDOM IS LARGER THAN HIV VIRUS TAHT MEANS THAT WTER CAN ALSO PASS THROUGH LAMBSKIN CONDOM.PLZ CLARIFY IT....

Aside from any other issues, sex workers don't use lambskin condoms because they are more expensive. They use latex.

You're working yourself up into another what if frenzy. We're not going there with you. You used a condom for intercourse which is exactly what you are supposed to do everytime.

HIV is not your problem and it won't be as long as you always use condoms.

If you come back again with more of this what if stuff you will definitely get a 28 day Time Out. Consider yourself warned.

Ghar,

Not only are lambskin condoms very expensive, but they are also very difficult to find. I've never once seen them for sale in a shop - the only place I've seen them available is on the internet. So stop worrying about lambskin condoms. If you feel you can't trust the condoms provided by other people, I suggest you buy and use your own.
