Anybody gonna play tonight?
btw, The winning numbers are..
17-32-36-43-52-05.
When i collect my money I will be holding an informal soiree for everyone here...cocaine, booze and hustlers for all!!
I will then set up The WillyWump Fund for any member here who needs financial assistance with their meds ;)
-
I always intend to play, but rarely do. It is too late now for me to buy a ticket. I should really play, when the jackpot is lower and not just when it gets all the media attention.
-
I purchased 6 tickets while in DC yesterday.
Will see.

So I'll finally be able to afford a spliff? Thanks! :)

How do you pick your numbers? Use the same lucky ones over and over ,use Quick Pick, consult your horrorscopes, or just make them up on the spur of the moment?
ps. I like bologna sandwiches.

HALF A BILLION DOLLARS PEOPLE!
...and I have a dollar and a dream :-*
ps- when I win, I'm buying the Forums and banning everyone

And the odds of winning have changed.
"Then in October, the $1-a-ticket Mega Millions made five of the six numbers needed for a jackpot win range from 1 to 75 rather than 1 to 56. The sixth number – the gold Mega Millions ball – is now from 1 to 15 after the revamp, instead of 1 to 46.
Those changes lowered the odds of winning from about 1 in 176 million to about 1 in 259 million. For comparison, the odds of being struck by lightning in any one year is 1 in 700,000, according to the National Geographic Society."

Tedderz...always pissing in my post toasties.
-
Ted beat me to it, but having to get 5 of the first 75 numbers is well, damned near impossible. They lowered the mega ball to 1 in 15 so they can get people to play all 15 mega numbers to cover all of them and guarantee at least a small win. But a jackpot will only go to what is now 586 million in a relatively short period of time when it is nearly impossible to win.
Willy you can keep the coke but a handsome young escort ;) sounds nice. I have always thought I would sponsor an AMG here in New York where we have never been as a group...And hotel costs won't matter much with a single winning ticket.
Jody :)
-
Ready to revise my birth certificate to claim kinship to the winner.
:D ;D
-
I picked up the winning ticket for tonight ;D
7, 9, 11-30, 12-1.
-
Just heard on the news that there were 2 winning tickets; one in San Jose, CA, one in Atlanta.
-
If I won all that money I would take my friends through the drive through at Burger King and let them eat it on my new Yacht .
-
Call me a sore loser but I am very, VERY disappointed that I didn't win. Really.

This has been on the market for years. I think its perfect. Fabulously overpriced but its in Montreux and prices there have been high since the sub-billion middle-eastern money chose it over Geneva.

I like this kind of "villa" in town, 4 rooms down, 4 rooms up, small garden. Its not big, the room sizes are normal not grand. Hideous decor in the pics, though...
This one would be great too, but big. I think it would be a fabulous commune, with lots of interesting people living together, with a day care centre, a sheltered workshop, and a working farm program with local schools, etc etc.

Here's a real, elegant chateau, also been on the market quite some time. Completely restored but far far too grand - i think thats why nobody wants it..

I didn't have many plans for my windfall. I was sitting behind one of our more 'colorful' characters in Milwaukee (more like trapped behind a traffic light) and was thinking of what I would do with all that glorious money. Then it came to me - I would buy this guy (finally) a car that was covered in whatever you needed to cover it with to prevent decals from sticking to it and THEN I would buy HIS car and let everyone in the city take a sledgehammer to it! That would be my 'giving back' to the community.
We don't keep our crazies locked up in the Midwest.....we give them drivers licenses and a gas card! Between this guy (Crazy Ron) and the Milverine - we have a per-capita lock on crazy!

I think Crazy Ron missed a spot ^

I do it the way the old Italian Women in South Philadelphia do - I play death dates. The dates all my relatives saw the face of God. No lie.
Fried bologna sandwiches are good for a cold.

He's a Keith Richards lookalike only he aged worse and carries a big cross!
The Milverine is somewhat "eye candy" but he always looks so damn mean - looks like he'd snap you in two for looking at him! We have yet to see the Milverine shirtless power walking (his trademark to fame) and Crazy Ron in the same place at the same time. Brings up all sorts of conspiracies!

I'm still very sad about not winning the lottery.

I'm still very sad about not winning the lottery.
If it's any consolation Andy, the 2 winners had to split the half a billion, and after taxes they are only getting $120million each.
-
There was a $1 million ticket sold in Niles, MI, which is 20 minutes away. My oldest sister lives there. I will have to call her later to see if she bought a ticket. ;D
-
I don't have a sister and if I did I would want to be the one that won. Even if it was ONLY a million. That's how I am.
I'm going to buy a ticket again but this time I expect for them to come through. I've been more than patient about this.
Season's Greetings. Harumph.

I get the feeling you are "this close" to firing off a complaint letter to the lottery commission ;D

I am never ever this fortunate. I also do not win playing the lottery. Oh, and that million dollar ticket that was purchased a town away where my sister lives? It was not my sister. :( So, no cash flow any time soon.

When i got out of bed this morning I had a quarter stuck to my ass, it fell off on the way to the bathroom. That's about as fortunate as I ever get.

As a Christian woman I do not engage in the sinful act of gambling.

You fart don't you ?

There's a man that lives mere blocks away from me that 1) claims to routinely win thousands playing blackjack at Atlantic City, 2) has a really huge cock, 3) has invited me several times to go with him to Atlantic City and stay in a hotel.
Frankly I find all of this confusing, as a Christian woman of course.

What does your pastor think of that iPad you stole?

What does your pastor think of that iPad you stole?
My pastor said it was pathetically derisory compared with the $25,000 Jeffreita stole in copyrighted material recently and anyone that doesn't recognize this publicly is a rank hypocrite with a personal vendetta and should spend more time seeking personal salvation.
-
Giving away second-hand books (or accepting books as gifts, which is what Jeff did) is not a copyright infringement. Stealing iPads, on the other hand, is a sin.
REPENT!
-
Speaking of morality:
Willywump, your gif seems questionable.
-
Those weren't second hand books, they were digital copies -- like downloading movies and music via bitorrent which is definitely illegal ref. pirate bay. Such moral relativism from a moderator held in such high esteem by The Flock is unseemly. My pastor hopes you reflect in a due manner on such transgressions.

What part of "they were a GIFT" don't you understand? They had already been bought and paid for - and presumably the authors got their royalty cut. I've gifted digital books to my daughter - it's not theft.
Your iPad, on the other hand, was NOT a gift. It's stolen property. You keep bringing it up, so don't be surprised I'm bringing it up too. If you want it forgotten about, quit bragging about it.
-
Its all about nothing . Amazon prime has an extensive lending library and members can swap the files back and forth and its legal .
-
I stole a cute Croatian guy's dignity last night. He begged me to.

I bet you can get a sin like that behind you as well.

My pastor said it was a gift from angels seeking solace for the spilt blood of the Jews.

Its my morality that's questionable. Don't worry gramma Mecch you wont have to look at it and get offended anymore as I'm changing it to the Dallas Cowboys for the big game tonight. REPRESENT!
-
My pastor said it was a gift from angels seeking solace for the spilt blood of the Jews.
Was he talking in tongues when he said that? Because it makes no sense.
Quit making excuses. You stole an iPad, and you keep bragging about it. I doubt anyone is impressed, so give it up already.
-
Doling out 800 books on a USB drive is theft. The fact that you do not recognize this simple fact illustrates to me that you've been emotionally compromised in terms of your personal views about Miss P. You'd be relieved of your command if this was Star Trek.

Is this against forum rules? -- if it is, then I'll stop. If it's not, well then I guess I can talk about it all I want to.

No, the fact that you insist that being given a gift is tantamount to theft says a lot more about you than it does me. That and the fact that you fail to acknowledge that stealing someone's iPad was wrong.
I'm so over it - but you obviously aren't, evidenced by the way you repeatedly bring it up and brag about it lately. Are you on the klonnies again?
I'm outta here. I've got better things to do with my time than to speak to a brick wall.
-
Are you on the klonnies again?
I am taking them as prescribed now: 1mg twice daily. I just took my morning one two minutes ago, and the previous one from last night which I took on the early side surely was worn off when I began writing in this thread.
Personally I don't think you should mock someone with a diagnosed general anxiety disorder (DMS-IV code: 300.02) in their charts since 2000. Surely that is against the rules here.
But as you've decided to take leave of this thread I wish you a fond farewell and deeply hope you enjoy the remainder of your day.
Kindest regards,
Miss P

I didn't see this edit until now.
No, bragging about theft isn't against forum rules, but if you want to continue to look like an ass, be my guest.

I'm not mocking your general anxiety disorder, I'm referring to your self-confessed-in-these-forum-pages abuse/misuse of the medication you've been given to treat your mental illness diagnosis and your behaviour in these forums that has been a direct result of your klonnie misuse. If you don't wish to be call out on things like this, don't post about it.
And yes, I'm taking leave of my senses of this thread - or at least this particular subject in this thread.
