What is wrong here?
« on: June 07, 2014, 03:51:02 am »
I feel terrible. My husband listened to my older half sister talk about how she has sex, (she is an ex-prostitute who is proud about it), and he was convinced she was so great he started to tell her husband that we are just regular. I had to tell him to stop talking and remind him she had all types of procedures along with the reoccurring surgeries for her slipping bladder. She cannot even have any type of physical activity without laying flat on her back and pushing up on her lower stomach.
I hate to have described that to him, but he needed to know that she is all talk in her old age. She is only 48, she just always abused herself.
Why could my husband not have figured this out on his own? Especially after hearing her describe how she has been operated on? Why is he so insecure to talk about us like that? Are all men this stupid? I have been unforgiving about this since last October 2013. Should I let this go? It's just with every hug, every I love you, and kiss I remember he had shared our private information with a person who is very negative. My husband was also drunk on that Puerto Rican Rum. He has stopped drinking since this past February. I am still upset.

If he isn't talking about your sex life anymore, its time to let this go.
Once there is gossip out there about your sex life, the gossip goes independently on its journey.  Try not to let it affect your intimacy, because who cares, really?  You don't care much about your sister so don't let it bother you, what she knows about you, and what you know about her. Everyone has squeamish or embarrassing or amazing, or all combined, details of their sex lives....  Unless you are learning such details in a positive conversation about sex, its just gossip and titillation - so its unimportant - just stupid conversation.  Or worse - its negative energy.  Just ignore it or have a laugh and move on.

Men, Idee can be very stupid, add high strength Churchill and it becomes Men are stupid.

From past memory your relationship with your husband has been good for you and you have always felt your sister would like to attack your relationship. I am not saying he has no responsibility , but you have posted about your desire to live apart from  the family off your Mother, doing better when its just you ,your daughter and your husband.

You can read how hurt you are and again it involves your sister, I am sorry you have this horrible type off hurt and I can understand why you are feeling betrayed , I cannot help thinking when I remember your other Post,s that some how your sisters went out off there way to cause distress between you and your husband, I hope the new one goes quick
