Aloha All,   I'm in the planning stages of a Hawaii Retreat for men with HIV.  Opportunity for dating (kind of pozguy meets pozguy), eating healthy with fresh local tropical fruit and veggies, nutritional information, Rest & Relaxation, clothing optional beach, waterfalls, botaincal gardens, hotsprings, active lava flow.  Curious to get feedback as to level of interest.  New to this site so I'm not sure if one can get email here.

The retreat would be at the vacation rental house and homes that I own.  They are oceanfront and 1 block from the ocean.  A good friend here in Hawai'i is poz and has a private tour business.  He is interested in helping organize and conduct the event.  This is NOT a for-profit commercial event. We are obtaining financial support to make the event as affordable as possible.  The intention is to bring poz guys together to enjoy the healing experience of Hawai'i.   Healthy local foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, nutritional information, great weather, relaxation, and good exercise, walk to the active lava, swim with dolphins, snorkeling, hike to waterfalls.  There are excellent gay yoga instructors to have yoga as an option. Poz guys run a massage business with both table massage (Swedish, deep tissue, Hawaiian LomiLomi) and Watsu (massage in a warm water pool). Some massage sessions would be included at no charge to participants.  Personal development will be explored with guided workshops.  Throughout the time in Hawai'i there will be many opportunities to get to know the other participants on a deeper level.  Definitely long term friendships develop.  And certainly the opportunity to meet a partner for relationship.  We have facilitated many "Men's Workshops" which have been amazing.  We want take that experience and focus specifically on sharing the experience with HIV+ men.
