Angels poetry corner

So i decided this morning that why not grace my friends on here with most of my poetry. So if you feel like you have something to share well this is the thread to do so and lets share what we feel through the means of a poem or something you wrote and feel like showing more to others than meets the eye.

Ever for


Ever for a short while I had
You be part of my life
Accepting a friendship
Not to lose you

My nights are short
My days to long
You are my friend for a lifetime
A pillar of hope and trust

Days are hard to face alone
But a bridge to build on my own
Ever for a longtime
You’ll be my friend for a lifetime
The task at hand
Was never written in the sand

Alone I need to be strong,
Face my fears, face my own life
You mean more to me
As a brother you’ll be

Life is to short to ask the what if’s
But embrace my life to be,
Ever for the rest of my life
You’ll be my friend for a lifetime
My brother to be.

Everything burns deep
Within my heart
Not knowing
Where my road will lead me
To tomorrow
Or if it will come to an end
Everything burns deep
Within my soul
Fearing of being alone
For the rest of my days
Not having another being
Be part of who I am
For alone I don’t want to be
No more
Everything burns deep within
My body and mind
To be the best
I can be to you
Not knowing
If you will stay and be with me
Or leave and desert me

Fields of gold

Over mountains and all the hills in the world
Lies out stretched lands of pristine beauty
Of fields to the horizons around us
Some most colorful and bright
Created with love

Others bare with no trees or grass
But blessed with life in the smallest creature
We can imagine
Which comes to life when adjusted
To what was given to them
A land created with love

Then there is the fields that is covered
With nothing but only trees
Trees stretch so high it touches the sky
Covered with leaves as green as emeralds
And flowers as bright as rubies
Life that one cannot imagine
Be so beautiful and vast
Created with love

Even desert plains bare to the ground
Only sand and drought
Where the eye meets the land
Emptiness to most but a living
Oasis to many small
Created with love

The most beautiful fields to me
Is the fields of gold
With long grass patches
Stretch to infinity
Weaving as the wind blows softly through them
Flattening them looking like blankets made from gold
Giving the warmth and sincere love

For one moment

Walking over planes of golden sands
My feet embedded in the grains of earth
Watching the horizons at the far
Ends of this world
The sunset oh so beautiful and gracious
Holding your hand in mine
For this moment to freeze in time
And never slip away from this
Picture perfect moment
A moment to hold you closer to me
Me against your body feeling
Safe away from all the harm
Standing behind me your arms
Wrapped around me
My head leaning back on your shoulder
Appreciating that one special moment
Given to us for that short while
Before night closes in on us
For one moment my heart skips a beat
For one moment we stand as one

Forgotten times


My tears of guilt could not
Wash away my shame for the person I am
Looking for your name
The name that meant
The ends to the world to me
But not to be seen for rows
And rows
Yet the name so simple
Have I forgotten where you lay
Where your mortal soul rests
To the end of days
Have I forgotten the ground
The piece of land
Which is your final resting place
Your last home of comfort
Have I been so caught up
With my own naïve little
Mortal life
Ignoring the love that once
Was the love of inseparable beings
 My heart aches for not having
You here
But never making the effort of visiting
The gardens of good and evil.

Halfway to heaven

Having you as part of my life is a blessing
You mean so much to me
It scares me of the love,
I have for you.
The times you make love to me
Sharing intimate moments
Becoming one, so precious, so wanted
Your kiss making my body quiver
With excitement
I know that I need to fix myself
To be the person you met.
Never doubt me or my love for you
For your concerns to spend your life with me
Like you I can see us growing old together
Being with you is like being in heaven
Having an Angel next to me
Being with you makes me
Feel like I am halfway to heaven
For I can only give you what I know
I need and that is to love you
The best I can,
 do what I know I can afford doing for you
be the person I best can be to you and that is

Flight of the Phoenix

Rising from its ashes
Taking on a new flight
A flight of discovering
New horizons and possibilities
Discovering the new journey
To the unknown
Rediscover the meaning
Of true friendships and deeper thoughts
Harm was once inevitable to it existence
Danger but a mere speckle
In a diverse world and galaxy
Demons and wizards hunting him down
Witches taking him as prisoner
A make believe world labeling him as
A bird of pray
He burned turned to ashes
He rose above it all from the ashes
That he was part of
So have I lived the life of a Phoenix
I have risen to take my rightful place
On this existence of being

Garden secrets….

Soon as the sun sets,
The earth around me,
Goes oh so quiet,
Life as I know it stops,
For that short lived hours
We call night,
My heart overwhelmed
With the peace I have
Within my soul,
Sitting in a garden,
Filled with the chatter,
Of birds big and small,
Stories of the day they just had
The sounds music to my ears
An orchestra at its finest
Tick-tock goes mother earth
And again the silence,
She brings with her
To the garden of many secrets
The garden of hope love and peace
So is this heart of mine,
As I lay myself down on her
Lushes of green grass
Staring at the moon and stars
Wonderment of her beauty
She has the nature at its best.

God’s roses

Trotting down the pathways of my life
Encountering many a different people
People who has enriched and blessed my life
In so many ways possible
Have I come to realization that they are
All the most beautiful roses the world
Has ever seen
All beautiful in their own rightful way
All colorful unique but oh so different
Need we look only on the surface?
We tend to look past the inner,
Outer beauty and only see
What we want to see
Nothing more
Nothing less
Need we look to find the our
True meaning our belonging between souls
We are all created in a unique way
Special to those that surrounds our being
Our person and we to them
Roses created by the Great Divine
With perfection and precision
Each flower embedded with
Compassion and love
We are all part of the rose garden
We need to look closer to those around us
And see that beauty within
Each of us
Let’s build on the Divine’s rose garden
For we all have the ability
To shine within

I’m not dead

My life is not over
It just started
I may have been weak at first,
But now I can say I’ve made it
I’m alive
I’m not dead
I don’t want your sympathy
Nor you pity
I just need your love
To be loved and love in return
All the same as any other person
I’m alive

My road has new direction

What makes me happy,
Are the small things in my life,
Day by day there are so much
I am grateful for
God has blessed me with so much
That I don’t think I give
Him the praise He deserves
As He has given me good health
And everything beautiful
That one can think of
So to has He blessed me with
The most beautiful people
One can have in ones life
To smile and to share our thoughts
Our feelings, our fears and so much more
Day by day my life improves
More my quality of life improves
So to my being

A world to believe in…

We were born into a world
One has to believe in…
Though many obstacles come our way
In this state and mind of being
Trusting and believing in people,
Spirits we encounter in this
Trance state of mind
This vibration of complete illusions
Am I but just a mere pawn?
To the games you play for who I am
But a spirit who has stumbled
On his journey
His purpose of being
Loving like there is no tomorrow
Being part as one for believing
In a world that I have
Become comfortable with
Tears run down my face
As I feel the hurt
That surrounds my being
And those I encounter
In my everyday living
Lost spirits in a strange world
Of materialism, greed and lust
Are we to believe in those,
Who are lost themselves?
Or are we there to find life together
A world to believe in is easy
A person to believe in is to love them

I have a high regard of respect for you,

Dancing to the sounds

Take my hand as you lead me
To the floor
Slowly approaching the edge
As we step facing each other
Eyes locked,
Your stare cutting through me
As we take the first step
Gliding across the floor
As one not one step missed
As one body we dance
The night away
Turns make my head spin
As you make my head spin
When I have you around me
Chills running down my neck
Your face pressed against mine
Cheek to cheek we move as one
Dancing to the sounds of music
The sound of our everyday being

Blessed times

How my life has changed cannot be described,
Fulfilling in so many ways.
That if I have to sit down, putting it to paper
There will not be enough to share
With those I have been blessed with

Day by day the blessings that surrounds me
Is getting better and bigger that I feel,
 I don’t give enough thanks to
For it makes me a better person
To what I once was,
To what I can be to others,
To what I can be to myself.

In months and years that passed me by
I think of all the obstacles I am faced with,
The hurdles I had to cross to be the better person
Everyone came to know today
I was once lost,
Lost to myself and the life I was leading
Lost to the people that loves me
To the ends of my days

Today sitting in wonderment,

For whom we are in this life,
Is what we have made of ourselves.
For what we achieve in this life,
Is with the help of others,
Who show us the way to success
Be it for a reason,
Be it for a season,
Be it for a lifetime,
They are sent to be part of our lives,
Each and every day,
Sometimes we welcome them,
With open arms,
Other times we shut them out,
For we are to scared to allow them closer,
To our being,
Our soul,
Our hearts,
But they are there for us,
In different forms and in spirit
At times we feel that there is just
No way out of our troubled minds
Troubled situations we face
Each day, every day
Though we don’t realise,

Search your soul and your heart
Finding true meaning and depth
To whom you are
Climbing the highest mountain in your life
Searching for the ultimate purpose
Of your life

Roaming over planes of heartache and pain
Soaring thru clouds of joy and happiness
Finding emotions of goodwill,
Power of love,
Meaning to oneself

The journey is far from over
I have discovered another part
Of my being that has a hunger,

Honour of honesty

One never knows how ones life
Can change in a blink of an eye
Well I know as I’ve been walking
A road less travelled by those
I encounter each and every day
Honesty is a code of honour
When dealing with so much in life that
I never realised
How valuable life can be
Never considering that anything
Can go wrong to this day
But my day of going wrong
Has reached me sooner than
I thought it ever will
Never masking the hurt and the pain
That comes with that change in life
But masking ones true feelings
In facing each day
But some days I can’t hide
Behind that mask of a smile
Or positive thinking
As people have a way
Of making us feel more
Than just being ourselves
They break down that face of the mask
That smile

Giving up seems so easy at times,
In this life,
But each day as I lay my head down,
Praying, hoping that it all
Will make some sense to me,
In this I call my world.
Days at this point feel endless,
Serving little purpose,
To why I am placed in this world.
Many tears shed each and every day,
Looking at why we are so destructive
In any relationship destroying love
Wondering since when did people
Make us gods to be able to putting down
Conditions and terms of sale,
Am I just a piece of furniture,
That has been purchased when
Asked to move in share a life with someone
Share his life his love on those conditions laid down
The love I still have hurts so much,
The tears cried,
The ones I still cry feel endless.

When will we learn that the greed of materialism
Cannot replace the love of another human being
Nor are we furniture purchased on conditions of sale
To be thrown about as we see fit

Thinking what if and should’ve
The tournament has started
Of blaming and self guilt

Punishing and beating myself
