Need Clarification
« on: July 21, 2013, 10:13:56 pm »
Hello ,
I wanted to get a clarification  about an incident that happened couple of hours back at strip club.  I went to a strip club  today and a striper approached me for giving lap dance. I took lap dance from her and during which i touched her breasts and body. She was wearing bra and g string during that act. She basically got her breast on my face but i neved kissed her nipples/lips. Then she told me that she could offer protected sex for 300$ /blow job for 200 / hand job for 100. I clearily told her that i dont want any kind of sex and so agreed to get hand job. she removed her clothing got naked . I was fully clothed and removed my pants and when my penis came out she touched it with her hands for few seconds. she want to start stroking but i stopped her not to touch. I very briefly just touched her vagina. I could feel that her  vagina was shaved. never inserted my finger into her vagina. i then used my hand for masturbation. At no point i never had any sex (oral/vaginal/anal). My lips/eyes never came in the vicnity of her genitals. WHen i was masturbating, she was fingering her genitals. I was all done and then enquied if she was healthy and did regular checkups. Before leaving she gave me hand soap  and both of used it to clean our hands.  my question is the following : Is there risk for contracting STD's/HIV by this. I did go thru the forums and confirmed that there is no risk. My only concern is that my hands touched her nipples and vagina briefly before masturbating and she did touch my penis for few seconds. If she had vaginal fluids on her hands   and if  she touched my penis ,Can this hand to genital touch very very briefly can cause STD's. Please clarify. Do i need to get any kind of testing.  Becasue of anxiety i did go to Emergency Room of  a hospital close by to my place. The doctor did say that there is no risk and told that STD's are caused by exchange of genital fluids.  Please let me know if there was any risk

You didn't have a risk . HIV is sexually transmitted from unprotected vaginal or anal sex so nothing you did was even a remote risk .

You cannot get HIV from rubbing or masturbation and it isn't transmitted on fingers or hands . HIV is a fragile virus and becomes instantly damaged and unable to infect when exposed to air .

Just remember to consistently and correctly use condoms for vaginal and anal sex and you will avoid HIV , its really that simple

Thanks for your clarification. What about STD's?

Its possible to get herpes and syphilis from touching or rubbing infected areas .

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Wow, I'm clearly in the wrong business!

TMW,

You really didn't have a risk for anything (other than perhaps a load of guilty feelings and anxiety) during the activities you describe, and certainly NOT hiv.

As Jeff mentioned, if you're not already in the habit of having regular, routine sexual health check ups, now is the time to start. Think of it like going for a check up at the dentist - you may not have a toothache but you go anyway. Regular sexual health check ups are what responsible, sexually active adults do to protect not only their own health, but also the health of the sex partners.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST SPECIFICALLY OVER ANY OF THE ACTIVITIES THAT TOOK PLACE DURING YOUR LAP DANCE, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
