Truvada & Sustiva to Atripla?
I understand its the same meds just in one capsule, but someone told me that because of a one shot double dose,I might get some weird side effects..
I have been on the 2 meds for over 2 years and my side effect are long gone... The convience of 1 pill is starting to appeal to me,
At this stage ,would I still get side effects?
OR do you guys think my body will never even notice the switch?
OR should I not rock the boat?
in other words. if it aint broke dont fix it :-\

I switched with no noticeable difference.

Its truly amazing that its now only 1 pill.
In the begining it used to be MANY MANY pills.
If you do swith to Atripla, then Good luck.

I switched from Sustiva/Truvada to Atripla a few years ago, and I didn't notice one bit of a change.. Instead of taking two pills in the evening, I was taking one. Couldn't have been easier. I'm not sure what you mean by "double-dose" -- are you saying that you currently take your Sustiva and Truvada at different times during the day?
Unfortunately, the side-effects of Sustiva (either alone or as part of Atripla) were too onerous for me, so I switched to Truvada and Viramune several months ago.
Regards,
Henry

Yes, I take Truvada in the morning, and Sustiva at night before bedtime.

I still take the two pills, and I've always taken them at night together.
I've always had problems with brain fog and sleep on Sustiva, but there aren't any good options for me at the moment.
It's cheaper than Atripila by a few hundred bucks (3 month supply), and even though I don't have any copays, I still get weird about prices.
How big is that Atripila, anyway? Must be like a horsepill?
