tijuana in 09
« on: November 24, 2008, 10:03:31 pm »
Hi everyone!  Kenny here!  new to the forums.  Will probably be heading to tijuana for lipo treatments this winter or spring.  dealing with some facial lipo.  was on zerit for 7 yrs.  guess thats what caused it for the most part.  my lipo isn't real severe but it really bothers me A lot when someone notices.
All the comments i've read on here from people that went seem to be verry positive.   Still kinda scared about the whole thing though.   Was wondering if anyone has gone for the pmma & regreted it.  Just to see if their is an opposite opinion.

Thanks GSO !     Need all the encouragement I can get.    Am kind of concerned about the whole procedure.    Like how painful ii is and what to expect right after the procedure.

My experience was written up in POZ Magazine:

I'm still very happy with the results.

I had two PMMA treatments at Clinic Estetica. They were done three years ago, and I'm still very pleased with the results. Even my hyper-critical mother said they did a beautiful job. Dr. Casavantes did the first treatment, but he then moved on to set up his own clinic not far from Clinic Estetica. I had the second round of injections two months after the first. It was done by Dr. Gloria Morales at Clinic Estetica, and she also did fine work.

If you fly into San Diego, they will meet you at the airport and take you in a van directly to the clinic or to a good hotel. The logistics are actually very easy for both Clinic Estetica and Dr. Casavantes.

For me, the pain of the injections wasn't bad at all. If I remember correctly, they applied a local anesthetic to my face before they did the procedure.

Good luck.

Thanks Pete!   Enjoyed reading about your expirence with clinic estetica & it was very informative.  & topping it off with chocolate ice cream works for me to.
And thank you to allen.  sounds like your verry happy with their work.

Actually my travel plans so far are to fly to Palm Springs with a couple friends of mine.  I've never been to southern california.  Get a car & we will drive down to San Diego & meet the van from the clinic somewhere.  then turn the transport over to them to tijuana.  After the procedure is over which I understand only takes 2 to 3 hrs.  will head back to Palm Springs for a few days to chill out.
