Pieces of my dream

Daydreaming but a small part
Of my existence
Dreaming of a family
Reunited once again
Forget the heartache
Forget the pain
Something that is in you and me
The compassion of forgiving
Are we so naïve?
As to what the meaning of the word
Forgive and let live
Dreaming of laughter
Sharing a precious,
Meaningful life together
Forget the greed of materialism
Of gifts to show one’s love
One’s true meaning
The pieces to my dream
Is far from reality
But this dream of mine
Will become our reality
Of a family reunited.
