Almost stripped at Walmart

I went to Walmart today and while I was in line to pay..it hit...and boy did it hit...a HOT flash. The mother of all hot flashes. I thought I was gonna have to take off my clothes. I was fanning myself with the new shower curtain i was buying( it was in a plastic pkg). It was so bad I was moaning. The guy in front of me kept turning around looking at me and I finally said WHAT!  He said my wife has those too and right now I am very afraid. I busted out laughing and so did the lady running the register.

I need one of those little battery operated personal fans. But I doubt if i can find them now since its fall. Have to check eBay.

OMG!!!  Between the subject line and then saying you got a hot flash...I thought some hot guy flashed you at WalMart!  But then the brunette side of my brain kicked in...DUH!

I had one of those fans, the kind with a little squirt bottle so you get the moisture as well as the wind.  I gave it to my officemate, who was flashing every 20 minutes and had no A/C in her car.  She still has it a year and a half later, and still uses it!

I think my mom sells them on her website.  Let me check and I'll repost.

Oh Teresa,  How I cannot identify, but feel for you... The closest I ever got to a hot flash was when a red haired, red faced, red dressed, red shoed lush kicked me in my NUTS and put me down for about 10 minutes...  I hope its not as bad as a "Nut shot".. Hope your all better honey!!

OK, checked it out and mom has one but it's 14.99 + 3.00 shipping.  I looked on eBay and yu can get one for 10.29, buy it now, from a seller who has 99.8% approval, so that'd probably be better.  I searched with "personal fan mist" and saw some there on eBay.  Good luck!  May The Force (of wind) be with you!

Oh Teresa, sorry it hit you there and so hard, but I also have to thank you for the hardiest laugh I've had in a long time!

Longislander...glad you got a chuckle out of it...so did my hubby when i told him.

Hi Teresa have you lokked into putting more soy into your diet? I heard that helps.
