A crying shame that the Canadian Prime Minister couldn't attend the opening due to other business. I guess his office neglected to inform him that there was an important conference happening that affects millions of people? I'd be happy to trade shoes with him should he wish to play catch up, post hoc.

On Wednesday, achieving universal access to HIV/AIDS was a major focus of the conference. The World Health Organization released new estimates of global antiretroviral therapy coverage.
