Aww, thanks kids.

Would that little birdie happen to be of the Isle of Man variety?  Ann, I thought I told you that the check was in the mail to keep a lid on that "Secret Lives of Moderators" tell-all you've been working on.  I guess that was my warning shot.

In all seriousness, I really appreciate the birthday wishes.  If there's one thing that living with HIV has taught me -- and I've got 14 years of that now under my belt -- it's that birthdays should never be taken for granted.  I'm six years beyond my wildest hopes of survival. And believe me... I don't for a second consider myself to be living on borrowed time.  A lot of us fought very hard to ensure many, many birthdays... and I'm definitely feeling entitled.

Thanks guys,

Tim

Happy Birthday Tim!

Sorry mate, that check will only cover the YEAR of your birth, not the month and day. Just keep the dosh coming and your secret is safe with me.  :-X (note to other members - bribes cheerfully accepted, cash only!)

Big fat birthday hugs,

Tim,

I hope your birthday was a day of great celebration and that the year ahead will be full of good health and continued success.

I admire you in so many ways I couldn't begin to adequately express them here.  So let me just quote your post:

Quote
I'm six years beyond my wildest hopes of survival. And believe me... I don't for a second consider myself to be living on borrowed time. A lot of us fought very hard to ensure many, many birthdays... and I'm definitely feeling entitled.
(underline added to provide emphasis)

and add this:

Those words are not only music to my ears as they embrace many of my own personal beliefs, but the second part is a testament to what you have contributed to this fight.  A contribution that is hugely significant.  Know this, if for some horrible reason, your life ended tomorrow, you mister have left a mark.  You have truly made a difference.

Now bend over mister, we've got a line around the block of members who want to smack you.   ::)  (Oh lord what a naughty thought I had  ;D

Tim,

Next time you’re in Sonoma County you can stop by and pick up my birthday gift to you. (Oh course leave the little hussy at home.)  ::) ::) ::)

I personally would like to thank you, for all the good that you have done over the years through AIDSmeds.com.

I celebrate not only your birthday but also your being and your person, your soul, compassion, intelligence, heart and your character. At times I’m in awe of the good that has come from this web site and those, like you, involved in it.   :-*

Starting with my 21st birthday and until her death, every birthday I would send my mother eleven long stem red roses and one white rose. With a card that always read, “ Of all the beauty in this world yours stick out the most.”

Happy Birthday Tim.
