Title: nausea on isentress and truvada
Post by: mdh26 on November 25, 2011, 05:02:58 pm
So I just started experiencing some pretty serious nausea on my combo after being on it side effect free for the last 8 months. My last labs about a month ago showed some elevated liver enzymes but I guess it wasn't too bad because my doctor wasn't greatly concerned. my piss is also very bubbly and it's color has not been good the last week. So my main question here is should I be concerned about liver our renal failure, or is this just a really delayed side effect unrelated to declining organ function?

The liver can be affected by things other than meds. Hard to say without tests. But organ failure, no I think you should not be concerned. Do get a hepatitis screen though.
